Thought he did pretty well today in the middle of the park He seems to have a fair bit of controlled aggression to his game. Threw himself into two hard tackles and came out on top both times. Another thing that’s noticeable is that he’s constantly shouting at everyone around him.

Still early days for him because of his injury but I like what I’ve seen so far.

I think we have three really good back up defenders in Polster, Halliday & Flanagan. Flanagan looks really fit these days. Slimmer than when he first arrived.

I like the look of him. Very strong in a tackle, like others have said a very useful squad player as he can play anywhere in defence central midfield.

Guys like him are here to give their all. He'll just want to be involved in any shape or form. We need this attitude in all squad players.

I would also two stroke his Mrs. An enjoyable couple of strokes albeit very short lived strokes.

My only concern is that none of them are really like for like for Tav. Not so much Halliday because he plays on the other side but the other two seen like steady and unspectacular fullbacks whereas Tav is an outright attacking fullback. I would feel better if Tav’s back up was somebody more in the style of player that he is but it’s certainly not a priority.
