It’s the go to word for that prick Spiers as well.

They actually don't give us the chance to use it as they never cover tgfitw misdeeds in any great detail, they gloss over them until they turn it into a ' jolly craicsters high jinks whit they like fest' !

“The kind that was never again meant to happen after 66 souls lost their lives at Ibrox in 1971 but which wasn’t taken seriously until 96 didn’t make it home from Hillsborough 18 years later.“

Are you saying Rangers never took the disaster seriously? Like Bill and his bastion of truth?

we pioneered safety at football  after that happened which makes it a fairly serious issue. A blatant lie from Leckie and fairly disgusting to boot.

and why do ppl mock whataboutery?

its ok for some but not Rangers fans is the point.

if you were in court and pointed out a case of whataboutery where something identical has happened the crime should be punished in the exact same manner.

Oh dear...

Rangers took fan safety very seriously after the 66 died - unfortunately football and society didn't and it did take the 96 to die before that happened!

I mock whateboutery because it is used as an excuse, oh Johnny farted in class, and his excuse on getting caught is ' ... but Joey did it as well'! If our fans act as arseholes, some on here excuse that because other teams fans have also acted as arseholes!

can you not see that the ppl on here are not excusing it by pointing out whataboutery ? Infact most have condemned the actions of a couple of lads that got over excited and what was basically an accident, but they are stating facts not half truths like Bill fuckin Leckie

Most on here condemn the actions? Really? Have you read the threads ?  Even you yourself are kinda excusing them - ach wee lads just got 'over excited' - nothing to see here! well nothing to see this time, next time that 'over excitement' might have much worse consequences, but as Leckie says, 'Do we have to wait till then? '

Doesn't matter what we do, behave or misbehave,  and I'm not condoning the jumping unknowingly on an  already dangerous structure or invading the park we are always going to get the shitty end of the stick from the liewwell controlled Scottish mheejah, what makes it worse is that we have an apologetic and appeasing set of cowards amongst us who are willing to take it up hummer endlessly and our enemies know it and play on it.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone miss the point by so far and for so long ever.

But if you want attention its the only option. Third rate troll, and probably being genuine about his status as a loner with blistered palms.

The way I see it.

The roof wouldn’t have collapsed if health and safety had done their job properly and made sure in the event of this happening it was a robust construction

The crush wouldn’t have happened if there had been proper crowd management.

People do stupid things when emotions get the best of them.

It’s the job of those in places of authority to ask questions, like ...what if.

You may not like “whataboutery” but it’s an natural reaction when folk get accused and see an injustice.

If there had been a surge from behind and those Bears standing behind that shelter only had one place to go to get to safety and that was straight over the shelter which then collapsed maybe killing a fan.

Would you be calling them embarrassing for trying to get to safety or what should be happening and that’s calling for action against Kilmarnock for not following warnings from the council that the shelter isn’t fit for purpose.

Do you think the fans on the shelter intended to hurt those below?
