Our mentality this season....

Seems to be bang on!

I know it's early days yet, but we struggled to beat Killie and Hibs last season. These last two league games were ones we would have drawn/lost last season but we hung in there against Killie and won, and we've totally blown Hibs away today!

We do have better players this season, but for me, we just seem much more confident, assured and mentally stronger!!

Long may it continue!!

Winning away on a plastic pitch with a last minute winner and absolutely demolishing a team who are down to 10. Not things we saw last season. Does feel like we’ve turned a corner

Chuffed to fuck. Two of the toughest fixtures to start the season. Overcome a huge hurdle/jinx at Killie and emphatically hammered the Junkies. Loving it.

Killie and Hibs was not an easy start to the season, and as has been said last season we would have dropped points in these games so to have 6 points on the board is a fantastic result. 

We blew hibs away today, it’s not exaggerating to say that could have gone to double figures!

I also meant to add to the OP that, it's an ongoing thing too.....we seem to be growing in confidence more than it being there from day 1.

Cudnt agree more with posts above. We cudnt beat killie at all in the league and beat hibs 1-0 once in the league last season. Theses were a nightmare fixtures start this season on paper..but we are just persistant and banging on the door the whole game. Well done lads on 3 fantastic results in a week.

Have to agree and who wouldn’t be chuffed with a 6.1 win but, there were times in that game where our concentration levels dropped. We are playing some lovely football but we need to raise the intensity still further, to many sideways and backward passing where incisive forward passes are on. Our wide men and centre forwards are making great runs and need the early ball. We run the risk of getting caught out when we try the pull back.

Still, very happy (honest) lets just keep the pressure and momentum high - no mercy.

I seriously hope that we’re back to seeing the likes of Killie, Hibs and the sheep as the diddy teams they are, rather than as some sort of rivals, as we were last year. We should be expecting to hammer these teams home and away

I think the fact i’m slightly disappointed (as were others) we lost 1 and had a mini slack spell suggests  we may have come up a level this season.

However we really need to keep this level up at all times.

Absolutely. Fear factor needs to be instilled, and goal difference could well be important. We need to be looking to score more in every minute of every game this season.

Agreed. We should be doing this when we're 3 up, not 1 or 2 hoping to get to HT/FT.  Kill these teams off early as possible.....we ARE capable of it this season!
