And btw, if he has done his knee ligaments, that’ll be his Rangers career fucked. He’ll never be the same player/have the same pace. Said the same about Murphy this time last year too and it’s panned out for him exactly as I thought.

Threatens his Rangers career and weakens our chances of silverware, and only manages to fuck himself up. Deary me.

I'm gutted for him. His immature heart had good intentions. Cut down a taig. And now it may have cost him a Rangers future. From the elations he must have felt on Thursday to this.

Stupid red yes btw considering what's been dished out to our players tackle wise over last 18 months that's no a red

Rossiter and Jack spring to mind

It’s what I think and if true isn’t unreasonable. Could be sitting in the stands getting paid handsomely for being out injured because he’s a fucking idiot.

Club not only loses a player but get no value for money.

You do know any player out injured gets his pay covered by insurance?

Yes he was rash, yes he was stupid but how many of the ones slaying him have played at a high enough level to understand what goes on in a players mind?

Wind the clock forward to August / Sept 2020.     News on final day of transfer window...…...contract terminated by mutual consent.    Either that or he follows the path trodden by Murphy and who the fuck knows if he will ever play for Rangers again.

What a waste of a transfer and what a waste of wages brought to nought by sheer stupidity.

I think anyone playing at any level would know he was a complete idiot.

Yes, I’m well aware of that but insurance doesn’t cover everything. What about the cost of surgery, travel to get there as most likely be a specialist, the cost of rehab etc.

The club lose out big time and he lines his pockets with cash.

FFS you would think he injured himself on purpose.

Must be great to be so perfect like all the folk in this thread giving him pelters.

Can see where you’re coming from but none of us get paid to be a professional and we go week in week out paying a small fortune to watch him.

To tell you the truth I’m sick of fucking highly paid daft idiots playing for us while across the city they wrap up title after title. It’s sickening.

Wonder how many insurance contracts have got clauses which allow the insurer to escape payment or liability to pay if the action of the player which caused or contributed to the insurance claim being triggered was down to the players wilful negligence or wilful stupidity.

I wonder if the insurance contracts draw a distinction between injuries which are patently accidental or cause by third party circumstances eg playing on plastic pitches or being hit by a missile thrown from the stand, and wilful stupidity and wilful rashness where the actions of the player himself are the primary cause of the injury.
