Dale Pryde was ordered to do 140 hours of unpaid work at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to hurling sectarian abuse.

The 22 year-old's rant also included branding Rangers supporters "scummy orange b*******s” in May this year.

It comes after he dodged prison in 2017 for trying to hit ex-Ibrox skipper Lee Wallace after the infamous Scottish Cup final a year earlier.

A hearing for this latest case was told Pryde, of Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, had already been warned by police at the Hibs match about his behaviour.

Schoolboy who ‘threw lighter at Rangers’ James Tavernier during Motherwell match’ cleared after case collapse

Prosecutor Cheryl Lyons said: “Pryde called Rangers fans scummy b******s, f*****g c***s.

“Both sides then started shouting at each other but Pryde ran at Rangers fans and shouted ‘f*****g w*****s'

“He then continued to shout ‘f*****g H** b*******s and scummy orange b*******s'.”

Pryde was soon removed from Ibrox Stadium and charged.

He pled guilty to acting in a threatening, abusive manner and shouting sectarian remarks.

The community payback order also involves Pryde being on a six month curfew.

Sheriff Tony Kelly said: “This was unacceptable behaviour at a football match.”

e told in 2017 how Pryde raced on to the Hampden turf then made a beeline for the defender moments after Hibernian won the cup 3-2.

The yob then tried to punch Ibrox star Wallace as the mayhem broke out around them.

Pryde also pled guilty to assaulting Megan Boyd by hitting her on the body with a chair during the same incident.

And another walks. Motherwell supporter from Coatbridge.:innocent:

A schoolboy accused of throwing a lighter at Rangers captain James Tavernier has walked free from court after the case against him collapsed.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was at the SPFL Premiership clash between Motherwell and Rangers when items were lobbed onto the pitch at Fir Park.

He was later identified and charged following an interview at Motherwell police station.
Footage from the game, beamed live on Sky Sports, showed a lighter and pie being launched onto the park as Tavernier, 27, was trying to take a throw-in.

Referee Nick Walsh stopped the game as he picked up the lighter and handed it to a nearby police officer and a probe started to catch those responsible.

The teenager, of Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, denied throwing the item at the right back in April this year and went on trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

But the case collapsed after two police officers said they had only taken statements in the case and had not viewed CCTV footage of the alleged incident.

After hearing evidence for less than 10 minutes, depute fiscal Claire Connachan said: "The Crown are no longer seeking a conviction on this matter."

Sheriff Vincent Smith told the teenager, who sat in the dock wearing his school uniform, the case was over.

He added: "As you've heard, the Crown have decided not to proceed any further in this matter so you are acquitted and are now free to go."

Rangers won the clash 3-0 after a hat-trick from midfielder Scott Arfield.

The behaviour of fans at the game was blasted by Rangers manager Steven Gerrard who said: "It seems like we’re trying to send messages out every time we speak to the media, which is a shame.

“It’s dangerous for the players when there are objects thrown on to the pitch, whether it be a lighter or whatever it may be. It needs to stop.”

Sing a bad word locked up quick than snow of a dyke in spring.

Actually assault a player and try to hit them with objects and it’s slap on the wrist and we can’t be arsed doing our job.

The difference, the one locked up is a Rangers fan the other 2 aren’t.

The countries absolutely fucked

Boy sat in court in school uniform

Obviously he remembered to shave.

He later visited the judge in his private chambers wearing his school uniform and appeared to be walking with difficulty when he later reemerged.

The corrupt Council are letting the City go to the dogs , while all the spare pennies are shifted over to the eastend . Or in their inflated salaries
