Popular Post SeparateEntityMyArse 53,607
I'm older than he was and I feel as if I've not even really lived life yet. My kids are similar ages to his daughter. It really does make me think how vulnerable we all are, and how unfair and indiscriminate things like this and cancer can be. Tragic circumstances, tragic loss. Sparkle, Bears r us, magic8ball and 3 others

MurrayWilson 3,355
RIP. Overcame a poor start to become a great Rangers player through sheer strength of character. Showed the same strength of character along with bravery and dignity as he faced his inevitable end. A real example to anyone. hawkeye and Blue Avenger
Falcoholic 1,348
At least now he is at peace and can suffer no more. If today's Rangers players had half of his heart and courage we would be a formidable outfit. RIP Captain, we'll always miss you. Popular Post Blue Avenger 22,567
I'm a bit fucking choked by this. We all new it was coming but it doesn't make it any easier. I can but only imagine what his young family are going through at their loss. This man was a legend both on and off the park. There are no words to adequately describe his courage in fighting this illness. He chose to stay in the public eye and done everything to raise awareness of this killer disease and raise much needed funds for research. He has been an example to us all. It touched us all and we all got to know him that bit more which makes it all more personal. In his passing I do hope that the club go that extra mile to celebrate his life and give the fans the same opportunity, family willing of course. A befitting memorial to all that he was and what he will continue to be in inspiring others. RIP Fernando. Thanks for all the memories.
