I love how cut throat Gerrard is

Had a good laugh at him telling the 4th official to fuck off last night aswell when he was arguing that the free kick after Arfields substitution was taken too quickly

I’d love to see a clip of that.

He’s right though, couldn’t believe when that happened but in all fairness I thought the ref had an excellent game last night.

Apart from missing Morelos stonewaller, the ref was very good.

There were a couple of free kicks he didn't give either and Morelos' booking wasn't a booking but apart from that along with the not given penalty and that quickly taken free kick he was alright

You could listen to Gerrard talk all day long. Really wish we had someone to ask him some decent questions from time to time though instead of the same mundane shite week after week. Even the post game stuff on Rangers TV is getting monotonous now, you can predict most questions and therefore most answers.

He's not scared to speak his mind or tell it how he sees things but unfortunately we rarely see him get asked about anything particularly interesting.

Just imagine a journalist asking about team news/injuries at the start of a press conference instead of as a last thought tagged on at the end, their heads might explode!!

Stands up and walks out leaving a slightly surprised Helander to deal with media drones.   Which he did pretty well.

Nice one too from the Manager in placing 3 (I think it was) hard edged comments about lack of support from the Scottish football authorities about the timing of domestic games following European games.    He's clearly pissed off and was keen enough to let everyone know it.    Firing for effect too at his own managing director when he said he didn't know if the Club had raised this with the football authorities.     In taking this point into his own hands, and stressing it 3 times with some clipped hard edged 'don't fucking challenge me on this' delivery he looks to me to be trying to use the media to get this issue raised and sorted.

He might as well have added that its little wonder the international side does so badly when the football authorities make such a mess of organising domestic fixtures (or put differently, that they chase the TV cash in preference to the overall good of the game and the players in it).    Gerrard must think he's finding himself working with football authorities who are retarded, blinkered and completely out of touch with the pressures on modern day footballers.

75 games in charge of Rangers already?   Quite a milestone, and so soon too.   Here's hoping he sees very many more and with league titles and cup trophies to go with it.

And was Ojo's goal last night the 500th goal scored by Rangers in European competitions?

Looked like he had made a conscious decision before the game to give Morelos absolutely nothing, should’ve had penalty and a good few free kicks in dangerous areas

That aside he had a great game and let play flow with a lot of advantage being played. After those spells of advantage he always went back and gave the offending player the booking/talking to they deserved which a lot of refs seem to forget to do

I thought the Ref was poor in his handling off Morelos there was at least three times Morelos rolled the defender and the defender brought him down but still we didnt get the foul. Helander had a decent game but not totally convinced yet by our defence I thought we still had to rely heavily on McGregor which does happen and he's good enough to cope with it.
