Davis

Best player in the league imo. A class above. He is playing like he's 25. Thought he was immense today and I've lost track of the amount of times I've said that.

We've got some great players and you could consider others, such as jack or Morelos, but Davis has been so good.

To think after the first 5 games or so back I thought he might be past it 😂 unbelievable signing.

Rename thread Alfredo Motelos and you might have a point.

But Davis is and was excellent 😁

Excellent again today

I think it's key that both he and Defoe are being well managed by our gaffer

Agreed mate.

btw I wonder if we just might have won the league if we had those two players at the start of last season.....

Astounding today .

Feel a bit of a dick now thinking his best days were behind him when he first returned in January .

Think we all had that thought 😂 excellent to see him show he's still got it. To think he's away to turn 35 in a few months too. When did we last have a midfielder of that age perform like Davis is now?

He was good at Southampton....playing down south has helped his game no end coming back. Met the guy in 2016 in the middle east on the beach he was first class and just a grounded kind of person. Very humble kid.

Was outstanding today

Think those kind of games suit him, at home with the atmosphere buzzing against a team who weren't interested in attacking, he had all the space in the world. Considering that's the vast majority of our games in Scotland he'll do well for us.

Against the taigs/in Europe though with teams pressing higher up the park I'd rather we tried something different with Jack/Arfield & Aribo/King/Kamara instead. Keeps Davis fit for other games in the league considering his age.

Rat bastard.

Agreed.

I think his last 6 months has been the best he's had in his career at Rangers.

Before he was looked upon to drive forward and score goals. Look at him now, he hardly takes a shot and seems far more comfortable just dictating the play.

But as the bold yin says, a rat bastard. Just only started clapping him coming off.

And if I'm given grief about the last part quite obviously the majority of fans at Ibrox don't hold him and McGregor in the same light as they once did.

McGregor's name used to be sung anytime he made a big save or after HT when he went to the Broomloan/Copland. That doesn't happen anymore.

They'll only be half forgiven if they stop the tarriers doing 10IAR.

And we have a winner,

Fucksake, the topic is about his play, not his morals. Can people not give it a rest for one day?

He’s doing well for himself, first to jump ship though. Rat bastard. Same as McGregor; superb goalkeeper but a die hard blue nose? Gees a break.

Disappointed Benjamin.
