Hamstrings are vulnerable in match situations when returning from that type of injury, you need to careful and he should gradually be brought up to speed when taking into account how long he has been without any real competitive action. That figure is 40 minutes of action over the last 10 weeks, would be madness to risk him on Sunday for 90 minutes. I don’t go with the narrative that he played from the start and that made his hammy go really. It’s the type of injury that could happen anytime. That said, doubt he’ll be sharp enough to go straight in. Would ease him back in later in the second half. Although needs must sometimes.
graeme_4 34,436
Also, I like Levine. Utter wank of a guy, but I find that quite appealing in a manager. Gets stuck in about everyone even when he’s clearly in the wrong.
Escobar 13,676
It’s good going top, going to tynecastle and winning to stay top is a whole other statement. Take 0-1 right now. Let’s get it done. Buzzing for it.
TopCat 4,511
Feeling confident for this one........... Hertz 1 v Rangers 3 BUT I would take 1-0 right now tbh.It would be a massive blow to lose our lead at the top of the table so quickly......... doesn't bare thinking about. writingranger 1,413
Stewart is probably the best choice for this game. Levein makes them play without a striker on occasion, so the hearts half will be crammed with bodies.

Prso's headband 35,428
Cba wae Ikpeazu. Doesn’t do much but will throw himself about a bit like Dykes does. Always a difficult place to go as well, regardless of form. Should have too much firepower for them, the defence they’ll put out will be as poor as I’ve seen in a while. 3-1 probably

Its not as if he rolled off the couch after 4 months and straight into the side that day. He’s an elite level athlete that had a full pre-season with the best team in the world. Hamstrings happen, if he’s comfortable with it there’s no risk in playing him. If Gerrard decides to ease him in because he’s a bit rusty having not played many competitive games lately then that’s a different story. He done his pre season at liverpool not here

Maybe find a spot for Stewart ? So much competition now, even to get a spot on the bench.. Kent / Stewart / Katic / Helander / Defoe / Jones / King / Flanagan / Barker / Polster / Docherty / Halliday etc. Bit of a headache for SG when everyone is fit.
