Not playing a player because he is on a yellow seems to defeat the purpose. Pepe will do everything to get under his skin but if he scores, it may mean more than missing the next game.  In any case that is why we have two prolific goal scorers if it happens. Is it just a rumour?

Young player, great pace, good number of assists, oh and a winger,! never met a consistent winger.  He makes good runs and is still learning - far to early to say he is shite, willl never make it etc. Does he need a few games out, protected even? Yep I can but that, but far to early to write him off - as so many seem to have done - and with some vitriol attached as as per usual.

Young, a winger and good pace?  These are just descriptions of him nothing to do with his ability.

im also willing to have him learn his trade and improve his positioning, his decision making and his technical ability - but not in our first team, with our youngsters or Liverpool’s -training and practicing on a daily basis.
we cannot afford to have players learning their trade in our first team

simple.

You mean players like Ryan Kent - who was at a similar stage last year?

Or young Morelos who is doing not bad now?

Where else do our young players learn?  now I am not a huge fan of the loan system, but it delivered us Kent (and in times gone past - Davis was a loan player here before signing with us the first time) but if we  'Cannot afford to have players learning their trade in our first team'  like you state, how do our loan players or young players EVER develop into being good enough for us ? Even seasoned internationals can take time to adapt to playing at Rangers (look at Jack - many wanted him punted last year). We MUST allow a proportion of our players time to develop or we will never have ongoing talent.
