KRYSTOF HAMPL has revealed his delight after finally joining Rangers.

The 16-year-old made the move to the Light Blues from Czech club Pardubice during the summer.

The midfielder then helped the young Gers to a third-place finish at the Spartak Cup in Russia.

Hampl's move was never officially confirmed by the Ibrox club but he has now taken matters into his own hands.

He posted a picture of himself on Instagram with a Rangers scarf above his head while wearing a club tracksuit.

And he said: "I'm happy to join this club, ready for new challenges."

Fellow Rangers youngsters Dire Mebude - brother of Dapo - and Kane Ritchie-Hosler congratulated him on joining the club.

Hampl previously had trials with Manchester United and Portuguese giants Benfica.

But he will now continue his development at Ibrox as he aims to break into the Rangers first team in future.
