Would be good to see a line up like this:

                           MacGregor

Tavernier   Katic   Helander   Barisic

                      Jack                  Davis

Stewart                                               Kent

                Morelos         Defoe

Not looking forward to this one. Freezing cold night and against a physical team who will be right up for it. We need players willing to do the dirty, grafting side of things before our skill will be allowed to flourish. Thinking we'll just turn up and be allowed to knock the ball about then we'll witness another Hearts like performance.  Tbh I'm struggling to see enough of those in blue willing to roll the sleeves up and get stuck in when needed.

Def one for the grafters and arguably why it’s an opportunity to rest Tav and play Flanagan at RB.

Type of game when Walter would’ve played 4 centre halfs 😂😂😂

This will be very close the team.

Only possible changes I would have is Arfield or Kamara and Flanagan for Tav.

Arfield has been anonymous most of this season which is why I wouldn't play him.  I don't think he suits the team unless he plays behind the striker.

flanagan and halliday at FB, Katic and goldson/edmundson for the physicality. start with morelos and if things get comfortable sub him off for defoe. stewart to play too IMO.

You would drop arguably our most in form player in Barisic for Halliday?

----------------mcgregor---------------

Tav------goldson--helander-----barasic

-----------Jack----Davis---aribo----------

Arfield-----------morelos--------------Kent

Keep the back 5, let them settle into a relationship. Jack to come back in. Aribo hopefully able to push a bit further forward with they 2 beside him. Kent and morelos back in is a no brainer. Ideally would of dropped arfield but even off form he'll provide more cover and work rate than Stewart or ojo, and we can't afford too many without that when I already have Aribo in the team.

3-1 us. Hopefuly see aribo on the score sheet

Preferred choice would be

McGregor

Tav Goldson Katic Barisic

Kamara Jack Davis

Stewart Morelos Kent.

We need grafters and winners until our eventual quality with Morelos, Kent etc shines through.

To be honest if Rangers start the game with the right attitude then we will be fine. County are nowhere near as physical a team as some in the league so the fact we have better players should make it count. Also the weather wont come into it all, Looks like its going to be a fine night for a game of football. Its all about our teams attitude really.
