Probably just about every away game will be on tv.
ok for viewers, pisser for the loyal fans that go I’d imagine.

It's great for fans, never enough away tickets for everyone, this just makes it better for fans who don't get tickets.

Ross County away at 12 noon on a Sunday 😂 not much point going to bed for the Bears travelling just keep going all Saturday night. And hang on, I thought we could play scum fc at 3pm on a Sunday it’s tradition and all that.

In league cup finals it is.

Genuine question when was it not? Prior to the Setanta deal? I’m normally pretty good with history and stuff but I can’t remember when it became that all ours and their away games were televised.

I recall it getting bad round about advocaat coming in but like you I can't recall it 100%

Under Advocaat we used to get non-celtic home games shifted for TV. My first League game at Ibrox a kid was a televised game against Mothwell that was pushed to a Sunday.

We played Dundee utd on a Sunday night at ibrox on sky. 5 0 I think it was possibly 5 1

There were late Saturday kick offs quite often at home, can remember one with hibs aswell, think it might have been 4-2 or something.

So it’s not a football tradition to kick off at 3 pm. Or is it only a tradition when it’s a neutral ground these days

Been a long time since football had a traditional kick off time where television is concerned.

But our 2 major cup finals have held their traditional kick off days/times pretty well through it all.

The St Mirren away game scheduled for 21/3/20 will be moved too as we'll be playing a UEFA last 16 game on Thu 19th 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

That game may have to be moved to allow the Scottish national team to prepare for the EURO 2020 playoffs - Clarke was going on about a fixture freeze before the semi final.

The times though where changed to start with because the police wanted the game over early not for TV. Just find it strange we can play at 3 In a cup game but we can’t be trusted in a league game when actually there is less potential for trouble.
