RobertN 386
There was a chance in the first half he could have put Arfield in but went for the shot and put it into orbit Summed up our day really
ger4life_1872 29,308
You pay that money for him to dominate games like today , didn't turn up
pcbear 10,913
Kent is a good player I hope he is hurting like fuck after not showing his true worth today, and burning to make amends.
Gman36 3,453
I mind at one point he had about four guys round him. So he had a tough time. He was also battling hard too. That being said I was hoping for a bit more from him than we got.

I said it earlier but Brown seemed to be man marking him. He was being denied any space and it’s hard to run at people and take them on when you’re being crowded out like that. celtic obviously identified him as a key player for us and took steps to take him out the game. If we had a more balanced attack we might’ve been able to exploit any space left but we don’t.
RockwellGers 14,596
He tried to beat too many players today, poor decision making, did not do what he is capable of. He will though. He'll learn from games like this
five stars 1,607
He had a decent first half. Lots of great movement creating space for others. Seemed to tire second half.

He was the one player who played the full match with a high workrate. Kept coming deep and showing for the ball right up until the final whistle. I know that doesn’t win you trophies but at least he wasn’t passing on responsibility and was trying to do something about the position we were in. plymouthranger 3,842
It was horrendous conditions and you could see everybody was struggling to run with it today. Had the pitch been dryer and more stable, him, Forrest, Christie etc would all have influenced far more heavily.

STEPPS BOY 73,173
Absolutely dreadful, worst player on park. The lack of quality in that forward are ( Bar Alfie) is frightening.
bluenoz 30,287
I was glad to see Gerrard had the balls to take him off. Most expensive player or not, he is just not doing it. And what pissed me off more is he sulked off the park.

TMB 14,167
I'm obviously in the minority here but I thought he done well. It was Kent's pressing that helped us score the first goal tonight. The boy is a handful with the way he takes on defenders and drags them all over the place. When Aribo gets the ball he can't run at the full-back and beat him whereas Kent goes past them with ease. What lets Kent down is the end product - Setting up chances and scoring goals. But, Kent's got 3 goals in recent weeks so I'm hopefully that side of his game is improving. Ojo is just horrific. He can get so far to fuck.

skinnymate1690 613
He's far too central for my liking and tends to be dropping deep. Can only imagine he's been instructed to do this... Much more effective getting the ball on the wing and cutting inside IMO

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,277
Stinking. And no excuses tonight that he was doubled up on. Too often took the wrong option or made a very poor pass. He's lucky that we've not really got anyone that Gerrard trusts to replace him.
