All they did was punt high balls up to morgan and any central defender could have won the headers. Edouard on 10 seconds and he makes a stupid fucking challenge when he didnt need to, even Gerrard said that. We almost went 2 nil down because of him. He is not up for the physical battle, cosgrove bullied him on Wednesday and hes been shite all season bar scoring the winner against kilmarnock. It's not that he couldn't get near Eduard. The ball was there for Goldson to boot out or up the park with his left foot. Instead he tried a more ambitious tackle with his right and makes an arse of it. Just really poor decision making for him. I'm left with the assumption that he thinks he's better than he is or he's not smart enough to make the right decisions. Happens time and time again. It was his mistake that resulted in their first goal during the first league game. He can be a good defender but seems to be prone to errors. Gerrard obviously rates the guy so I doubt he’ll be dropped anytime soon. Katic was our best CB at the start of the season it’s a shame he’s been forced out the team.
