Very poor once they brought on Eduardo.

Gave away needness free- kick for the offside goal.

Tried a ridiculous tackle on him, totally unnecessary, that lead to that wee guy going straight through on McGregor.

Tried another daft tackle on him right at the end.

Goldsons potentially a good player but keeps making poor decisions, he can't continue to be an automatic pick regardless of form.

I'm actually starting to dislike the big fella . Not nearly imposing enough . And as you say , he was very poor when we needed him to boss this guy .

The worst for me . It's  continuing square heed headers in attacking areas . How many does he have to miss before he actually finds the fucking net

For those saying he done fuck all wrong, him and helander had zero to do until Edouard came on. All they did was punt high balls up to morgan and any central defender could have won the headers.

Edouard on 10 seconds and he makes a stupid fucking challenge when he didnt need to, even Gerrard said that. We almost went 2 nil down because of him.

He is not up for the physical battle, cosgrove bullied him on Wednesday and hes been shite all season bar scoring the winner against kilmarnock.

Helander was worse.

Before later shitting it out the game Helander dug him out after he made Ryan Christie look like Zidane

Saying that neither of them would look out of place playing at the back for any of the dross in our league

Thought they both did ok but Goldson gives away a daft foul for their goal and dives in yet loses out to Edouard for when he plays through Johnston.

Also headers galore in the first half from corners. Shoulda been doing better.

Thought he was leaving one on Eduard. No prob with that trying to injure him given his recent injuries. Hindsight means I'd wished they didn't get the free kick, but if the linesman does his job it wouldn't have been such an impactive incident.

If he finishes then Goldson is made to look very silly since he couldn't get near Eduard before he plays the ball through to Johnston.

It's not that he couldn't get near Eduard.

The ball was there for Goldson to boot out or up the park with his left foot.

Instead he tried a more ambitious tackle with his right and makes an arse of it.

Just really poor decision making for him.

I'm left with the assumption that he thinks he's better than he is or he's not smart enough to make the right decisions.

Happens time and time again.

Can't remember any big mistakes from him?

If anyone was to blame on the offside goal it was Helander. He was the closest but that might be harsh. Looks like Katic might get his chance on Thursday. The RM Katic Loyal Brigade will be out in full force soon.

It was his mistake that resulted in their first goal during the first league game.  He can be a good defender but seems to be prone to errors.  Gerrard obviously rates the guy so I doubt he’ll be dropped anytime soon.  Katic was our best CB at the start of the season it’s a shame he’s been forced out the team.
