Every team goes through a bad spell but this is when the team need our support more than ever. Let's get behind the manager and the team although we have quite a few average players at this moment in time they all wear the blue jersey and need us with them.

There's no danger Gerrard will be sacked, he's the biggest name in Scotland and after year upon year of turgid football, lowkey expectations andbelow average players, he's given us a serious profile again. He's spent a fair bit of money but it was badly needed, fuck being pumped off the tims by 4s and 5s on a regular basis, he's the only guy I believe that would be given that kind of money to spend, if we got another Warburton/Pedro they wouldve got money but nowhere near enough, particularly in the wage structure bracket.

We've been immense in Europe and that's another thing needed to be a success at home, we need that profile to attract a certain type of player, we need that revenue to go out and get those type of players, it was never going to be a quick fix, particularly with how dominant the tims have been in the last few years,

We're 12 points better off than we were at this stage last season, amd nine points better off than the tims were at this stage last season, that's a phenomenal tally and highlights our progression, the problem for us is that they're displaying signs of consistency that is pretty spectacular too, we're on the right road and just need to bide our time and hope when they falter (whixh they will) we can take advantage

We dominated a cup final which we lost to a clearly offside goal, our top goalscorer missed about 6 chances he scores week in week out with, 9 times out of 10 we win that game and cup comfortably, however that one in ten just happened to be that day.

If we don't win the title this year we can't lose Stevie G, he's built something capable challanging and the one thing we need now is continuity, bringing someone else in during the summer and expecting them to stop 10IAR in his first season would be wildly optimistic at best.

Walter advocaat o'Neil eck Strachan all won the league in their first full seasons. It doesn't need a full rebuild, a new set of eyes and voice could make the vital difference.

Exactly  👍

but we’re still hamstrung by supporters who love a moan, pick on players, tactics and formations. Mainly due to them being pretty good at FIFA20 and spending vast amounts of time talking pish on the internet.

PS   I don’t play FIFA20 and I don’t spend a lot of time on the internet but I do sometimes talk pish.

The Marco Negri saga done for us that season, no doubt we were an ageing team and it looked like a season too far for some but if Negri had played all season then we would have won 10 easy which would have ended up 12 with Advocaat coming in.

But he didnt and the tarriers were able to best pretty much a core squad of 9iar

A better example might be the difference mcleish made with advocaats team his first 18months, a cup double then a treble before having to dismantle it

Sometimes someone else can work wonders with other managers players

There was a few factors at play, Smith was leaving and he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory with a group of players that carried us to 9IAR, a group that were long past their best, Gough, McCall, Durie, Goram, Durrant and McCoist,  So when guys like Gazza went off the boil and the whole Negri debacle happened we had no genuine quality ready to step in.

They only player they've got that would be considered past it by age is lego

Aye but the tarrier team back then was still raw in terms of winning, jansen turned them from dropping stupid points to teams to beating them

That's a myth to be honest, the year they stopped our 10IAR they won less points than they did under Tommy Burns the previous two seasons, our standards dropped massively in 97-98 because our squad gave everything they had  getting to 9IAR, Smith was far to sentimental to that squad and that's what cost us.

I'll be honest that first half tonight had me questioning if he's lost the dressing room absolutely scandalous first half again.

Second much much better like We were before the break attack after attack just couldn't find the net with 4/5 chances

Said it after Hearts questions need to asked, and said the same again at this time last season. Yes improvements have been made by we are now 10 points behind the taigs led by the scumbag Lennon. We were 4 behind at this point last season.

Costing us a fortune for absolutely fuck all in return.

Will win us fuck all. Has improved us hugely but giving what we've spent thats a given. Hit his ceiling. If we stays they win the 10 easy. Same fucking thing over and over and he trys fuck all different. Fucking clueless

Game would be won if it wasn't for the officials

Not sure I agree with that. We were pish in the second half and never rarely threatened their keeper except Morelos lob. We do our job right and dominate, create clear cut chances and bury them it doesn’t matter what dodgy decisions the refs give.
