Did you not here Gerrard in his interview after the game, it was actually a tactic....he claims he was happy to give them as much room down the flanks as they wanted....when you look back at last night, barring  2 headers the amount of crosses that went into the box came to nothing

Just said as much in my last post, it was a tactic to give them the flanks, he obviously thought we could deal with crosses better than stopping them by playing through the middle

i haven't watched or heard the interview yet ! this is also why i am a footballer manager only by game lol
