You may not be able to field your best 11 every game but whoever takes the field should have commitment to do whatever is required to get the result. Tonight we once again had to many ball watchers. Don't remember anyone winning a 50/50 ball or making run just to create an angle for the pass. We seem to have fallen for a narrative of teams in Scotland don't play football. Tonight hearts played most of the game in our half but we still couldn't find space to create anything. Hearts pressed as a team exactly the same way we did prior to the break. No trophies again for another season and league done with by March. If we stay with the status quo then 10 is theirs. If we twist then we may get lucky and get someone in who can figure out how to beat teams like Hearts and Kilmarnock. Gerrard will not bring us domestic success and neither will his players. We've literally just given them another treble. That is fucking sackable!
