Cormack claims they were "undecided" before Doncaster phoned. They then voted Yes.

Tom English tells Cormack that Neil Doncaster shouldn't be phoning clubs at 4.40pm and revealing anything about the vote. Tells Cormack that Aberdeen choosing to vote Yes (because they knew their vote wouldn't matter) still allowed the SPFL to have a greater percentage of Yes votes. Thus creating a false picture of how many clubs were happy with the resolution.

Cormack's next sentence literally begins with the words, "In Neil's defence..."

FUCKING HELL, MAN.

The only way to choose the chair of SPFL Independent Investigation is by means of an independent investigation. Run independently.

By an independent third party who is not dependent on anyone else, in any way - ie totally independent ...

Cormacks answering to the the questions (of what happened between 4pm and their vote) are car crash stuff.

These chairmen and owners just love the sound of their own voice. They love being involved. They love the spotlight. In these cases these kind of people very often can't hold their tongue, and more often than not, drop themselves in it. Pretty much every club who has spoken out have made their situation and that of the SPFL all the more murkier. No one has any credibility. No one is telling the whole truth. It's a total mess.

An independent investigation can be the only answer. Even then, it'll probably come down to who's the best liar!

They will be getting at their independent candidates at this very moment

I see them suggesting possibly 2/3 favourable  people that clubs will back using an independent investigation  . This cabal are clever as fuck

One of their former compliance officers perhaps?

Don't get any more neutral then Vinny and Tony?

If not, Feargal, Seamus or Finbar could always step in 👍

Even the ones who know they've been taken advantage of don't want to criticise.

ALL in Peter's pocket.

Don't get your hopes up bears.

Dave Cormack seems oblivious to the concerns regarding Doncaster phoning him and revealing the scores on the doors prior to them being called.

Wow.

Cormack will now be receiving phone calls from Peter's office, and will be issuing a statement in due course to 'clarify' what he said earlier.

As I’ve posted before the least they should be fighting for is the title not to be recognised as a legitimate title

It will NEVER be a legitimate title and if any Taig tries to tell you differently just ask them who scored their winning goal to win 9 in a row.

Fucking Declan Corona ? 😉🤪🤯

They may be clever and the only ones knowing the rules inside out (because they fucking wrote them to suit) but they have definitely been complacent and definitely over confident ,it will be difficult to remove them completely but chip chip away and at least get some proper fairness in this game ,

Just look at what happens when we run the cunts close and when we beat them the dirty tricks flow ,I would assume if the same were to happen next year with out new PR style and a recorded timeline of what’s went on in previous years that we can show them up again ,”yes we are happy that we go into the new year break beating the @“£&? Now we can spend the next few weeks waiting for faux offence and trumped up charges and a barrage from the usual suspects in freindly media “

Starting to think they might just have finally played one card too many. Hearts and Aberdeen are arguably the next biggest two in Scottish football and both of them are also calling for an independent inquiry.

At least one of the three will be sacrificed, but not until they are backed into a corner.  All 3 need to be removed.

Absolutely. Plus Lawwell. He’s the top of the chain. Ring leader might be a more appropriate term. I hope we have something on him.

What if Doncaster phoned them at say 4:20, saying the same thing he said to Aberdeen? Makes Hibs change their vote because like Aberdeen "it doesn't matter" as everyone else has voted.

How would these clubs that what he was saying was true as well? I get that they all probably knew roughly what each would vote but Rangers and Hearts were no, convincing one or both of Hibs and Aberdeen changes the entire situation.

Exactly.

And if anyone thinks any differently they are deluded and haven't been monitoring Scottish football for years.

Have they all been lobotomised? He sounds like a battered wife, ffs.

This is unreal.

Exactly what it is. SPFL been beating the shit out the clubs for years and now the clubs think they are doing it for good reasons. Sick fucks.
