£10k a space.

£590 is the quote for Scotland per m2. 11.52 m2 is standard parking space in the UK, add in access, ramps, space for driving etc. If anything I'm probably under.

Aye, sorry. Missed a zero out. Anyway, that's irrelevant.  The price is bonkers, even at 1k a space it is robbery.

Would take years to just break even, since it will only really get used once a fortnight for 90mins.

This all seems like a lose/lose situation all round.

Who is supposed to benefit from any of these plans?

I hope this is just casino in Ibrox talk.

If they want to develop the ground around Ibrox,  it should be something that makes money. A shopping centre and a hotel maybe. Expand the Asda/McDonalds area to join up with the area around Ibrox. Turn it into a town centre outside of the town centre.  And then join that up with Braehead to the airport. Add a train station and trams.

Mixed feelings about these flats, but personally I'm looking forward to Ibrox eventually looking like it's part of the fabric of the city rather than being able to be viewed from distance across barren car parks and grassy urban brownfields.

fuck beinf part of the fabric ffs.

Defeats the whole point, Ibrox Stadium is in a league of its own, Unique! Especially that old grand mainstand.

Ibrox could be in ths middle of the desert and still look great. Your correct mate unique and nothing can compare to it.

Ibrox stadium is old and it is beautiful and its colours they are fine 😀

I dont really fancy been part of the fabric in this  scumy taig loving city anyway lol.

Is this going to make it impossible to see the stadium when you're driving along the motorway?

If we still own that ground and we can get 100k a flat, that's the only way I would support this

The site plan shows it being on the carpark so it should not block that view.

I have no idea what money would be involved mate,  but doubt it would be anything like 100k per flat.

Pretty sure it was announced not long ago that we had a long term lease on the astroturf park and building across from the main stand.

Rangers Charity Foundation got a 25 year lease on the community centre.

There is no way we are building a multi-storey car park so that discussion is pretty pointless .    A flat car park  built at ground level doesn't cost anything like the sums quoted.

The proposal may be  by Rangers. or by a developer of our choice.      I think it looks pretty good, it isn't very high and it doesn't affect the view of the Stadium.   Any deal would generate some much needed capital which could be utilised elsewhere in the Club.
