Ah, the typical "can't do" Scottish attitude.

It's no wonder that the rest of the UK see Scotland as miserable, negative, moaning, whining, victimised place.

Always got to be seen to be different and normally for all the wrong reasons.

:tu:

...... and as far as this football fable has been deliberately directed mate ...... absolutely definitely for all the wrong reasons ...... bar for the one scummy club's benefit.

Ok, tell me how clubs pay players wages without gate receipts coming in?

Remember, many of these clubs have had to furlough many of their staff because they can't afford to pay full wages without any sizeable income.

We've even had to defer player wages because without our usual income it leaves us in a  difficult position financially.

A) they didn't even attempt to look at ways to finish the league. It was never happening due to the tarrier cabal.

B) I couldn't give a flying fuck about the state of other clubs in Scotland. Their diddy status and financial position is their own concern.  Tough shit. The more Scottish clubs that die off, the better. Too many clubs as it is.

A) You know we were happy to end the season too?

B) Ah yes the old 'let them all die' nonsense. Because playing in a league containing us, celtic, Aberdeen, Falkirk, Hibs, Edinburgh City, East Fife and Raith Rovers can only help us become bigger and better.

What about our financial position where we've had to furlough non-playing staff and defer the playing squad's wages? How do we fund that difference without income?

Two entirely different competitions organised by two different bodies. The SPFL don't organise the Scottish Cup. That's the SFA.

If you don't believe that the intentions of both organizations was to benefit one team in two different trophies and that they are not influenced by a common denominator in Peter Lawwell then there is truly no hope for you anymore Dude.

you won't find any support on here for the spfl or the sfa  but go ahead - argue their points.

Surely further highlights the shite ending our season early has caused.  Looks like Liverpool will get the chance to actually win their league title.

Be interesting if our league starts behind closed doors, the argument would be why it couldn't have finished behind closed doors.

Was that Rangers' intention by backing it too?

See the 100+ players out of contract on Saturday. We'd have had a little over 24 hours from lockdown being eased to fit the entire season in.

Well, I never thought I'd care to much about Liverpool winning a league, but when they do it this time they will have my greatest respect, mainly due to the fact they behaved with dignity honour and integrity, and with no complaint or threats,  when they stood to lose a title they had coveted for 30 years.

And I am sure the majority of decent football fans in this great country of ours would agree.

Assuming we stuck to the Scottish Government's habit of doing things a week or two after westminster, we'd be re-starting the season almost a month after over 100 players in the Premiership's contracts will have expired.

Why is this ball bag still posting man

All you do us suck up the SFA and SPFL and the rest of the cunts arses.

Fucking embarrassing

So how is that working with all the other leagues restarting? Weren't there allowances being made for this? Could teams not have been instructed earlier that the plan was to restart the league and allow for player to have their contracts extended? The split could have been scrapped for one season to help with any potential backlog of fixtures as well as or the winter break scrapped for one season to help fit games if the following season.

How is the PL getting around these doomsday scenarios that you have stated?

Contracts dont end until July. They're also far less reliant on gate receipts to keep themselves afloat as Sky pay them billions for TV.

Most other leagues have their contracts end in July which gives them a bit more wiggle room.

Sell players or borrow against stadiums , cant do that then go into admin , it's simple really

How do they play games if they've sold their players? Transfer market isn't exactly thriving just now.

Fifa have already laid out the guidelines surrounding contracts allowing for where needed them to be extended to whenever a league has ended. They have also allowed for transfer windows to be pushed back where leagues are delayed.

Eyebrows and questions should be raised as to how a league on the same island as us was able to restart but the Scottish leagues wasn't? But we all know no one will say a word.

We all know which club and authorities were rushing through their pre-determined solution which benefited only one club, rathee than being objective and listening to viable alternatives which would have been fairer to the majority of clubs still involved in winning, promotion and relegation.

A truly shameful act by the football authorities once again for  the  club who sets the world  standard for shameful acts.

Youth squads , reserves , signings from amateurs,  tbh it's not really my job to be sorting out clubs problems ,

They should have simply been told when the league was starting back , if they couldn't fulfill games then they forfeit
