Thought he was good, not great.

Still rusty, still heavy looking.

The dropping deep was clearly a tactical instruction to drag a big diddy CB out and give Kent and Hagi space in behind. Worked to a tee for the goal. Assist was perfectly played.

Thought he was poor again. Still looks heavy and he looks completely uninterested.
The longer this goes on the more his value will drop.
If we could get any kind of decent money for him and get 2 or 3 in then we’ll be a better team for it.

In what way does he look uninterested?

He was clearly instructed to come deeper, like he has been in a couple of the pre season, and as a result we got a goal from it which he set up.

We've bemoaned our struggle to deal with oppositions sitting in and frustrating us,  going on preseason and yesterday asking Alfie to come deep and forcing a defender out with him looks like its gonna allow space for the likes of Aribo, Hagi and Kent, Aflie had a decent game yesterday, showed another string to his bow.

Correct decision to play him, he contributed to our win and showed no loss of appetite or discipline problems that some feared.

Toughest possible opening fixture dealt with and out the way.
