I would argue that the ball was not last played by Morelos nor was it to his intended target.

If it was a shot on target that the keeper pushed to Aribo then absolutely. A cross to Roofe that a defender knocks to Aribo is not an assist imo.

It ricocheted off the defender to Aribo. Maybe I need to see it again.

I just went on livescore and flashscore and they have both given an assist to Roofe???

Just checking this thread and seeing Hagi has 20 goal contributions this season so far yet still can't start week in, week out.

Looks like first goal came off Roofe rather than the defender so given him the assist. Gave Davis the assist as well just to keep it all 'official' but next season I'm going rogue on the rules and going to either change the criteria or add an extra table to make the numbers mean something more. Would rather the assists represent genuine creative goalscoring chances by a player otherwise half the numbers don't mean much. Will probably do both to keep everyone happy.
