First 60 mins everyone on the pitch static, no movement and every time the ball goes to a forwards feet he just knocks it back to the midfielder as he’s closed down - rinse and repeat.  No urgenc

Apart from one or two daft ones straight to the opposition, Goldson must be close to the top spot as far as incisive forward passes go. Which says a lot about our team as an attacking force.

Manager is praising clean sheets against dross. That's the level he is at.

the way scottish defences play we should be telling morelos hagi and kent to hold the ball with back to goal wating for a shite defender to come through them to get the free kicks.

The thing is with that though St Johnston and St Mirren fell for it and the defence was ripped open.

Livingston where stubborn today and refused to be brought out of position and committed every man to the ball not the man.

Tactically outthought by Gary Holt. Says all you need to know about Gerrard.

Without getting overly tactical, we (Gerrard) needs to figure out how to draw teams out to us and pull players out of positions when we come against these teams. Our static midfield 1-2 passing isn’t doing that currently.

It’s hard to draw out teams who actively play for a draw, If we don’t score an early goal we have no visible plan.

It is hard but as much as I hate to admit it septics midfield/attack  do it quite well by pulling players all over the place opening up the pitch

We have, and we do try. The problem is that the box is rammed with players and the shots get blocked.

We rarely shoot from outside the box, and if we do its always a pretty poor effort that barely reaches the keeper. Need to bring in Albertz and he can  teach them how to take a shot!!

We do, though. When you have 11 players doing their best covering the goal then you will have a problem when shooting from range.. shots get blocked.
