Historically it has given us all the fear over the years but in Goldson, Helander and Balogun in particular we look strong. Edmundson and Katic are still a bit raw but look absolutely fine too. Tav looks better defensively. Borna is turning it on at both ends and our keeper situation is arguably our strongest area. We have barely conceded any chances all season. Some will say that's because the opposition have been poor, which is an argument however I think the team, the shape (in possession and out of possession) and the management team need to take credit for that. It's not just by chance that we nullify chances from the opposition. Better positioning, better shape, better communication, better concentration, better decision making, and ultimately better performances from players individually and collectively are giving us a real platform to work from. It also makes a huge difference that we seem to be eliminating a number of sloppy schoolboy errors that we have become famous for. All great successful teams need that solid foundation at the back to build from. Of course there will be bigger tests to come. Hopefully we are ready for them.
