Not an easy achievement,  well done Gers.

Seems like it has been though.

Either we have improved or the opposing team(s) don't want to go into our half. Unfortunately I don't know which one it is.

Touched upon it on another thread but our defence is looking really solid. Historically it has given us all the fear over the years but in Goldson, Helander and Balogun in particular we look strong. Edmundson and Katic are still a bit raw but look absolutely fine too. Tav looks better defensively. Borna is turning it on at both ends and our keeper situation is arguably our strongest area.

We have barely conceded any chances all season. Some will say that's because the opposition have been poor, which is an argument however I think the team, the shape (in possession and out of possession) and the management team need to take credit for that. It's not just by chance that we nullify chances from the opposition. Better positioning, better shape, better communication, better concentration, better decision making, and ultimately better performances from players individually and collectively are giving us a real platform to work from. It also makes a huge difference that we seem to be eliminating a number of sloppy schoolboy errors that we have become famous for.

All great successful teams need that solid foundation at the back to build from. Of course there will be bigger tests to come. Hopefully we are ready for them.

Well done us tbh only goal we’ve conceded in proper games including pre season away to Lyon and nice is Leverkusen away who are a top top team

shouldn’t under estimate that

Keeper and whichever CH has played have all done very very well defensively.

Quite a surprising record in that, its only 5 games without conceeding. Just seems like a small number compared to the feat. Anyways, happy days another record broken.

Clearly with Tav expected to do less defensively has helped us in this case.

Only a record for first 5 at start of a season, we have had longer runs mid season.

Just had a  wee look... 9 seems to be the best run at the start of a season for any european team. Play the scum on the 11th game. Hmmm could we go 11 :D

Man Utd went 15 games without conceeding, but not at the start of the season. Some record in its self though.
