But the faults you could lay at his door was (IMO) that he's not match sharp. If he is, he scores a couple. Worked his socks off (as Gerrard says) He can be a player for us if folk are patient and he get's chances. He wasn't great tonight btw. Roofe was getting it tight a couple weeks ago, Kamara before that, Kent from day one. Just be patient because he he's got some no bad attributes. He came to us after a whole season playing and scoring goals in a 442. He hardly had a break and was “match sharp” and we don’t play a 442 so he’s going to continue to struggle unless we change our set up. Roofe, Defoe and Morelos are used to playing one up top.
