He obviously wants to play football, people saying that shows a lack of ambition, it’s the exact opposite. He could have signed up at Arsenal and played reserve football for 3 years earning a fortune but he wants to play first team football. So he has to show us what he has got before we consider a move for him- there must be thousands like him out there wanting a trial for the Gers - but we have decided to give him a chance. Think its more the point that the first team squad is already bloated with shite that wont challenge for a starting place, this boy is 20 so he'll be a first team squad member, so the chances are if he needs a trial then he probably isnt going to challenge the first team for a game Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Really meant I never understood why he would reject a deal without having a another club lined up.
