For the 2019–20 season, group stage participation in the Europa League awarded a base fee of €2,920,000. A victory in the group pays €570,000 and a draw €190,000. Also, each group winner earns €1,000,000 and each runner-up €500,000. Reaching the knock-out stage triggers additional bonuses: €500,000 for the round of 32, €1,100,000 for the round of 16, €1,500,000 for the quarter-finals and €2,400,000 for the semi-finals. The losing finalists receive €4,500,000 and the champions receive €8,500,000.[21]

Couldn’t care less about this tbh, we don’t have the squad to play Thurs Sunday every other week, would be better to drop out this and concentrate on the title imo

Want us to qualify but I don't think it would be a huge disaster if we didn't,  the rewards really aren't that great this year with the current situation and feel you're increasing risk of large numbers of squad members having to isolate for vital league matches if they're all jumping on a plane together every second week.

Dearest friends from Scotland,

I know that my squad Willem II is not very famous in your country and it seems that thursday's match is of little concern to you. But here in Tilburg we are very excited indeed that we get to play against Rangers. It is such a huge shame that there won't be a return game in Glasgow: we would have loved to come visit you. It is also a huge shame that there will be only few scotsmen and women visiting my town. This is the first official game ever that we get to play a team with such a great history, with such an appealing name as yours, in our home town (In the 1960s we had a game against Manchester utd, but that was in Rotterdam because we didn't have lights in our Tilburg stadium back then).

Off course we hope that Willem II have a very good day and Rangers have a somewhat lesser day, so that we go through to the next phase. But even if we don't, even if we loose (which will probably be the case), we will enjoy the match nonetheless.

See you next thursday!

Cheers from the Netherlands,
Rene.
