Steven Gerrard is looking tired .........and he's far too nice by far!!

It’s really not as complicated to win games in Scotland at away grounds as Gerrard and I’d say more so Beale makes it out to be

Walter Smith signed players that first and foremost would win the battle then the quality would take over, remember at Kevin Thomson heart and hand , he said even players with the ability of Pedro mendes was told during the ferocity of the opening exchanges at these grounds just get it first timed round the corner with your back to goal till it settles down,

it’s definitely the difference between us winning and dropping points the current teams lack of physically, Motherwell friendly they opened up and didn’t mix it we could have won 10v0 that night easily , be lucky to win on Sunday coz it will be identical to today

I’ve backed him the last two years but patience starting to run thin now. Our players aren’t aggressive enough and are overly controlled in their performance - the mentality is not right, it’s weak as fuck. We never throw the kitchen sink at it when we are down or really pile on the pressure and fight for everything.

This all comes from the top. It’s no surprise he sits in the dug out with a petted lip looking bored as fuck. All the EPL managers direct play from their dugout.

Spot on mate

Aye and that's all well and good, everyone loves a European run but that's not what the fanbase is crying out for.

They're on for 10IAR this year and the likes of @KingKirk can say it doesn't count but the fact is when we are all dead and gone the history books will show they set that record. It's a record we won't ever see beaten in our lifetimes either

Only a few years of this groundhog season shite til they overtake us and hold every record going as well.

Our ability to drop points from winning positions is real worry. Last season, Hearts, StJohnstone and Kilmarnock. So far this season,Hibs. All games we were winning but either ended in defeat or a draw. I see very little evidence of players or management learning how to see games out.

I hate to admit certain things. But today Gerrard does looked tired and jaded. Distinctive bags under his eyes and a resigned look about him.Today was a harsh reality check for us,a warning that attractive play  with no penetration  won't get us goals against stodgy defences and that carelessness in defence will cost us dear. The next month will tell us all we need to know...the signs are not good.I am not optimistic, frankly I am depressed about our leadership and direction,a clueless captain running about on the field with his mouth open like a fish out of water sums us up.

If someone asked you why have Rangers not won the league under Gerrard you really could just show them today's game. It had every failed characteristic of us under Gerrard.

He’s an idiot. The posters vehemently defending him think this is Steven Gerrard FC. Every manager up here ages 10 years in one season, it’s whether you can handle it or no that’s the issue and he can’t

Sssh, we aren't allowed to be annoyed.  It's a draw and not a loss after all 😐

The recruitment of players since gerrard has came in is fucking embarrassing. We had a lot of shitebag and dross players when he was appointed. And we still have the same type of players now only some of them are older now. And we have absolutely no phisicality throughout the squad never mind the first 11 and you need than in this backwater of a country to succeed.

How many times have we got to see this type of performance before it finally sinks in that this guy is not up to it ?  Its another shocking decision by this board to let him have another shot at this after the miserable failures over the last two years , which if hes kept on will hand them the tenth title and give all our support years of torment from the taigs.

The money hes wasted on dross is far more than most other managers were ever allowed to spend and now hes greetin that he needs more to buy more midfielders.

We are forever moaning about teams packing the penalty box for ninety minutes hoping to take points of us , Hibs came out and actually played to try and win the game , leaving them open for counters at the back. There was no high tempo football or counter attacking at speed , it was pedestrian the whole game , and Gerrard never had a clue once again how to change things. The midfield were where the problems were yesterday, they created absolutely fuck all and his way of dealing with it was to take 2 midfielders off and put on 2 strikers. The guy is a total embarrassment and should have been sacked before this season started.

Giving him another year is going to haunt us for decades..........

Looks like Gerrard will have to go the same way as Warburton and co but no one can deny that he hasn’t improved the team.
His team have enough to win this league but Gerrard will fail because of the fenian bias and he doesn’t have the ability to counteract and highlight it. We need a manager that will force the cheating out in the open and get a level playing field. Until we fight that they will continue to beat us.

This stiff upper lip can’t compete against a demographic who’s morals allow them to enable kids being sexually abused, supporting terrorism and celebrating gifted league titles.

It’s hard to disagree with any of that .Fair summary in truth

There is no chance this team are going to stop that lot for me .Sunday just felt like another one of those same letdowns ,this club have been having these last 9 years ,most certainly the last 3 under SG

Would not surprise me if we raise our game in Holland .Get a great result and then come back and lose to Motherwell

Its a bad result but the reaction is well over the top after the start tother season we've had .

Any other day our forwards score at least a couple of four missed sitters , our defence dont make schoolboy mistakes for their two goals , and the referee doesn't miss blatant , game changing decisions . No wait , cancel that last one .

Exactly mate. We should just be delighted we've kept out 19 game top flight unbeaten run at easter road. Ignore we've only won once in four under Gerrard there🤔

To be honest I look the exact same when I've been up all night having a porn fuelled wankathon - especially the resigned look.

I'm not saying that's what Gerrard's been doing, but you never know.

We are going to get criticism leveled at Gerrard every time there is a point dropped.  We all know that it is going to take 30 wins and a possible record points total to win the league this season.  The margin for error is fine.   We have just had an absolute disaster away against the third best team in the league. A point would in any other circumstances be a decent result but not this year of all years where the pressure to win the league is so high.   Keep things in proportion.

I am not one for perusing bheast forums and not living in Glasgow can’t pick up the vibes from working with them,  but there will be similar scrutiny of any of their shortcomings.

I agree that we need to be more robust at times but dropped points yesterday had little to do with physicality.  Poor decision making in defence and poor finishing up front cost us together with the usual dubious refereeing.   Maybe 3-5 would have been about right.

We do need to toughen up before the OF though. We can’t have Brown strutting round with impunity.  A bit of “We are a Rangers you don’t mess with us” needs to be shown from the start of games.

Certainly not caused by over enthusiasm in the technical area during league matches.

That is becoming very annoying and also concerning, it happens all the time when we are not winning, surely the very time he needs to be on the touchline encouraging his players to get a result.

It happens at Ibrox in the same situation as I am sure most on RM has noticed. Why does he do it is the question ??

We are weak at board level for not taking on the SFA about the very unlevel playing field we gave regarding ref/linesman, yes I know the replies will be they will fine SG if he says anything but unless we challenge these cunts nothing will change.

Time for a new approach and follow up with some harsh truths.

I will add we should still have won the game yesterday with the number of changes we missed, but their goal was a disgrace from the linesman.

Caught up with the post-game interview and I think that Gerrard is looking very tired, too tired for the early days of the season.  Maybe it was the performance although I've seen Rangers play worse and win.  There are times when he seems to be too nice, too much of a gentleman.  Would much rather have a snarling, ranting Jock Wallace in front of a camera.

That game yesterday would put years on any cunt.

We are though? What have we won over the last few years fuck all. Only thing that has kept him in a job is European football. The amount we have gave him to spend also. He has been backed heavily and the players bottle it at every big opportunity.

You mentioned the tea lady and coaches not me.
