Wouldn't say brilliant, he took his goal superbly.

Got better as the game went on, which is to be expected as he's not played in over a year. Rusty to start with, again, which is understandable.

But what I took from that, is that he's one to use on the counter-attack. He looked a lot better in the second half when we were under little spells of Motherwell pressure and breaking away, using the space and running into it.

Compared to him getting the ball and trying to beat players and break down organised defences, that is.

How is that? Hagi has offered us nothing since officially signing and has had more than enough chances.

So you are writing him off?  GTF Hagi has a fantastic footballing brain just look at the way he set up Arfield last week at Hivs for the 2nd goal.  He brings moments of magic that can unlock defences he just needs to work on his consistency

He is fast a direct which is what we need at times.  But to say he offers more than Hagi is abit much to be honest

Unnecessary comparison too, they aren't like for like. Hagi as we all know does his best work centrally.

You're talking £millions to bring in a better winger who won't need months to settle in the country, to the league, to the pace of football, to our style of play etc. and so as I said in the match thread it would be mental to let Jones go.

Far better player than plenty give him credit for.

He could be a really useful asset in a handful of SPL games and as an impact sub in Europe. Still think in the majority of our games - SPL, domestic cups - his style of play just isn’t going to work against packed defences. Put a tenner on him being MOTM against Ross County, though, because he’ll absolutely slaughter a poorer side who play fairly open football.

Thought he was brilliant today!

He brings so much more than what Hagi has been offering and Barker.

Hagi.

1 goal, 5 assists in under 9 games.
