i dont back anyone until i get the full facts behind the situation

How can people blame either when everyone admits we dont know the full story?

Good point! (tu)

I am going on the facts that rangers have given us to this point, hardly anything.

My gut tells me Barry.

sorry guys but i dont back any of them.

1. BF if stays will give us about another 3-4 seasons.

2. PLG if stays and turns out to be successful could potentially give us any amount of years beyond 3-4. on the other hand if he is a dud it could be a long 3 years.

3. if BF goes we will surely get a healthy sum for him, and therefor hopefully spend it wisely.

4. if PLG goes we will have to stump up a healthy sum to get rid of him. the next manager would then have no cash and a team full of mongs with BF trying to push them along as he has done in the past.

5. Money is not the deciding factor in all this neither is who is right or wrong, but in my opinion PLG has done something very brave, and stands by his decision this is true leadership, wether or not BF took a tantrum or not is irrelevant the manager made a leaders choice and will suffer the fall that goes with it. I just hope they can both see sense shke hands and get on with it.

I back PLG, BF has always been a moaning wee shite whose ego is bigger than his playing ability.

If the rumours about Saturdays game are right and PLG told him to play further forward (which makes sense if Clement is playing) and he totally disregarded the managers insructions then he can GTF. At times he has cried about wanting to play the AM role, so when he gets his chance he refuses to take it.

There can be only one BOSS and PLG has a far better track record in management than BF. Typical wee man syndrome, I know best. I have seen people on here complaining that Clement and Ferguson are too similar and playing in the same position, well obviously the manager feels the same way and maybe now we will get a proper box to box midfield player with the money from the sale of BF.

That might not be a bad assessment of the situation. While I might not endear myself to the RMF troops with my first post criticising Ferguson, I don't think he contributes anything like what he did in his first spell at Rangers. A player of his supposed class should be dominating each and every game against "SPL diddies", if he was able to do it against Leverkusen, Munich, etc etc. That does not happen at the moment.

As for being a moaning wee shite, I would say that he is not the worst for it but I don't believe he is in the same mould as Richard Gough or John Greig when it comes to captain material. Yes, he is a Gers man through and through but he is not in their stature IMHO. Nor is he able to provide inspiration in the same way.

As far as we know, Fergie is gone until he apologises and toes the line with Le Guen. That might not be as bad a thing as some are making out. Today I thought Jeremy Clement was absolutely outstanding. He fought for everything and showed composure on the ball for the full 90. If that is a by-product of Fergies absence, and we can get someone more direct in there who will give us 10-20 goals from midfield, an Albertz or a Gazza, then it can only be a good thing.

Life goes on. PLG will be here for a while, until he walks or until his contract runs out. Either way, I'm sticking to my guns (and Danny will confirm them!) that PLG should be given a chance to turn the ship round. Let's hope there is money to spend in January. Gotta spend money to make money. And some fresh blood might do us some good. Especially if they are the right types of player (Defender who can head, Midfielder who can score and anyone who can hit a decent free kick).

Sorry if any anti-BF sentiment is going to upset the applecart... but I don't care :P

Ferguson has been Rangers' outstanding player for the past two months, and easily the best in Scotland. His performance against Celtic (Who are in the last 16 of the CL) was world class, as were a lot of his recent shows.

Furthermore, how can he do it against elite European sides when the best we're playing are Maccabi and Partizan? Besides, he's not let himself down in the Uefa Cup this season either. His performance V Molde at Ibrox was topped off with the GOTS imo.

He's managed to single handedly carry Rangers over the past 2 months. I would strongly dispute his inability to inspire those around him. The only game there was a problem was St Mirren, and tbh I doubt The Messiah himself could have got more out of the likes of Papac.

Clement had a good game today for sure - but he's had good games alongside Barry. His absence is not a factor for me.

You trust PLG with money when he spent almost ?2M on Sebo?

I think you're having a good old-fashioned NG-style attack of "The Nerlingers" here Danny!!! ... to say BF was world-class against Celtic is an almighty exaggaration. And if some other displays were as well, then why have we not read about them? Why have the sports shows not shown them, and why are we still misfiring?

I'd also dispute your point about BF carrying us in the past 2 months. Other members of the team have chipped in a lot more than the first half of the season, and we showed a good return to form. Novo, for instance has earned his money. We are still inconsistent though and there are too many games (Inverness? Falkirk?) where Ferguson has been anonymous, nevermind inspirational.

I know he can't do it on his own, but we have to look at the bigger picture. Is he a negative influence? Does he give out his own instructions that contradict the manager? If so then it has to be sorted out. If Fergie is not there PLG is putting his neck on the line and if we don't get 2nd (realistically I believe that is the highest we can aim for this time round as it stands) then he will really be in trouble. Whether or not Fergie gambles on staying for that to happen is a different matter.

And to answer your last point about the money... Yes I do trust him. I am still under the spell of the blind support and ecstasy you were in from when PLG put pen to paper! Nah...seriously though I think he just needs the right players to come up. Bain must have had a good bung from the Vienna players' agent in the summer...

I hope Sebo comes good. Perhaps with Prso out and Boyd's goal celebrations he will get his chance...
