Very interesting comments from Neil McCann last night he was saying that he's sure BB must have played at least some of his career as a winger because his crossing is not just good but has so much subtlety

As far as praise goes for wide play that’s a massive compliment to Barisic considering who’s giving him it

I still find it mental we tried to buy Joey Garner, who only existed to head the ball, in a team that tried to pass it into the net.

That's what I'm saying mate. He'd excel now with our two full backs putting the balls in for him

We've missed out

It was some cross and header.

Borna is worth a lot of money.

Can we not just keep a player and enjoy what he brings on the pitch sometimes instead of constantly wondering what they’ll go for , it’s a real problem amongst the support imo

His crossing is incredible.

Can’t defend against that ball he put in last night.

Borna’s defending isn’t the greatest, but fucking hell he makes up for it with the attacking crosses he puts in. Could say the same about Tav. Both of them are lethal.

Don't see how talking up your players valuation is a bad thing

We are a selling club

Are we ?

Of course we are

In today's footballing world we are completely the type of club that needs to be bringing players in on the cheap and selling them on for profit.

You think we are able to hold on to all our better players until they retire aye?

Better when attacking seems to be the way for modern day full backs.

The stats for ours are insane.

Of course we are mate.

There isn't a club in Scotland who isn't.  We can't compete with wages or transfer fees with others.

I think putting a valuation on players early doors is fine.  It's worked well enough for the tarriers,  they have got way more than what players were worth more than once.

We had a habit of underselling out players.

Our stats fuck up a lot of opponents regarding our fullbacks. Let’s continue this. On the other hand, we are a threat from anywhere on the pitch now. The other teams tactics have to be spot on to stop us now.

Borna gets plenty of praise.  Start a thread asking people who our best player is and he’ll be at the top of it or thereabouts.  He’s the best attacking LB we’ve had since Numan.  I wouldn’t be surprised if a team put a massive bid in at some point.  His quality wont be going unnoticed.

If it wasn’t for Covid somebody would have bought him by now ,As it stands there ain’t many willing to pay what we would be happy to accept .

Just think back to the beginning of last season even the few who still thought he would come good would never have thought he would be performing the way he has been .
