Yes, we could all debate about changes we’d personally rather see (e.g. some would prefer Alfie starting, others Itten). Just shows the strength and depth. It’s a luxury we should enjoy as it’s not been like this for a long time. It’s easily good enough to get 3 points and a convincing win. Let’s smash them. Starting Defoe over Itten just raises questions over Gerrard having a bit to go as a manager.
