Sounds like Turnbull tested positive. If he travelled with the squad yesterday they’ve got a big problem.

Theyll do whatever necessary to declare as little close contact with other players. Not a chance they harm their chances today.

How would that play out? would the game not just be postponed?

Starting XI: Bain, Frimpong, Bitton, Ajer, Laxalt, Brown, McGregor, Christie, Rogic, Elyounoussi, Ajeti
Subs: Barkas, Taylor, Duffy, Griffitgs, Klimala, Ntcham, Edouard, Elhamed, Henderson

Doesn't seem as if Turnbull came into close contact with others funnily enough...

Celtic have confirmed that Turnbull has tested positive and is now in a 10-day isolation period.

So if there's proof that he travelled with the squad yesterday to their hotel, could there be issues?

They've named their team.

Its only an issue retrospectively if they play players they were fully aware were in close contact with him. I've no doubt they'd lie, but unless there's a whistle-blower fuck all will happen as there's no chance of investigative journalism exposing it.

Turnbul trained yesterday with their squad. He's alleged to have travelled to the team hotel and then tested positive.

Did he travel by team coach, did he eat with players, did he room share? Or did none of this happen along with no close contact with any other player....

I'd be careful what we wish for just now. If Brian Kinnear tests positive (he was part of the 21s squad too) we may well have no keepers in a few days.
