Itten looks like a swiss Lafferty.

Hope Zungu gets a run soon. Also hope we get to see more of Dickson if we can rack up some goals in some league games and bring him on.

2nd half dragged in a wee bit to be fair but a comfortable win with a couple nice goals in the process. Really cannot complain.

Don't think it matters at all who we get or where we get them, we'll be fine.

Well done Claran Dickson young man and to Middleton & King. They all played well.

A litle concerned about young Hagi, he is well off the pace. Also, Itten looks good until he gets in front of goal.

What I learned tonight is no-one will question Roofe-Morelos-Kent as our forward 3.

Zungu looks class to me. He does exactly what Ryan Jack does and based on the latters injury history, that is a good thing.

Good workout that. Only slight negatives were Hagi and Itten. I expected a bit more from them.....even on a plastic pitch. But nows not the time to dwell on that. Not too fussed at just the one goal second half. The changed disrupted the flow of the game.

Lots of positives from tonight.....mostly the blooding of some youngsters. King looks good, as does Dickson. Nice to see Middleton back in the frame too! Defoe lasting the pace and scoring is another bonus. Bassey getting his first goal, Barisic another goal from a rocket free kick.  4 goals, clean sheet and the Tims get fucked again. All in all a good night!

It must be so frustrating for players like Hagi and Itten.  The guys ahead of them are playing brilliant so there's limited opportunity to get game time to impress the manager.  Then they get a chance and they end up being too eager and try too much instead of just taking the simple options available to them.  Their confidence drops even more and it becomes even harder to break into the first team.  The best they can do is just keep working hard and hopefully it all starts clicking soon or they'll be moved on next summer.
