Obviously some players will not see Scottish Football as their dream option - but you can also safely say that Wilshere wouldn't get a bigger club than Rangers at this point of his career. If it’s a transfer that works for both parties that’s different, he gets exposure and first team games in what has already been a stop start career when u look at his games played. 
 

We get a player who could really improve the staring 11 and squad setup, he has the potential to be a game winner and changer.

I think it is all paper talk. If we genuinely wanted him we have had plenty of time to do it over the last few months. Instead we’ve brought in Zungu and as far as I can see made zero attempts to get Wilshere. The fact no club has gone for him is telling imo. Pretty sure it’s not his granny. Did he not say “my grandad married a Scottish woman like 30 years ago” that seems to me like it was not his blood relative but a remarriage.
