Case information

On 15 December 2020, the CMA launched an investigation under Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998 (‘CA98’) and Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU (‘TFEU’) into suspected breaches of competition law by the following entities and their affiliates: The Rangers Football Club Limited, Hummel A/S, LBJ Sports Apparel Limited (trading as Elite), Greaves Sports Limited and JD Sports Fashion Plc. The investigation concerns suspected infringements of Chapter I CA98 and Article 101 TFEU in relation to the price at which Rangers-branded replica football kit was sold in the United Kingdom.

Notes

At this stage the CMA believes that it has reasonable grounds to suspect one or more breaches of competition law. The CMA has not reached a view as to whether there is sufficient evidence of an infringement of competition law for it to issue a statement of objections or, ultimately, an infringement decision, to any party under investigation. Not all cases result in the CMA issuing a statement of objections or an infringement decision.

Considering this is against Rangers, Hummel, Elite, Greaves and JD then I'd probably think so.

This is why I wish King would stop publicly slating him given every chance, as he happened to just again in his recent media outings.

Ashley goes after us for it, rather than King directly. Things are starting to look good on and off the pitch - we can do without the distractions caused by Ashley's personal tantrums and moaning. He's an enemy no-one needs or wants, yet it feels like we keep giving him a reason to keep coming back.

Looking forward to them announcing:

We're investigating suspected anti-competitive behaviour regarding the connections of the Board at celtc football club and their sympathisers regarding the targeted financial undermining and regulatory persecution of their only real competitor Rangers Football Club before and during 2012, leading to the latter's placement in the fourth tier and the former having a free run at the Champions League for a decade and still making a pig's ear of it.

Think he will plague us for the rest of his days regardless. Cunt hates losing out.

As well as investigating the almost exclusive use of Torbett Towers by Glasgow City Council for meetings and events which could and should have been shared around Firhill, Hampden and Ibrox.
