Game management at its finest

Damn shame we couldn't do this better midweek or vs Benfica but the fact we're doing it at all is great. Little bit of time wasting to see us get all 3 points.

Highlights the importance of us getting the early opening goal/goals, sitting in comfortably going into the dying stages of a game 3 goals to the goad and being able to whittle away the clock. One of the thing's we're doing right this season

When would we have done it midweek?

When Goldson scored at the very start or when we weren’t winning and immediately conceded after equalising?

Probably after the 2-2 equaliser, we were starting to rear our heads, get a break and do a sub and regroup to then come out and put the game to rest.

Really needed someone to go win the ball and then travel up the park just to drag out the game and go into extra time. Which is strange because another great attribute of ours is winning the ball, hunting in packs.

The more I see these, I can't stop laughing. Add in his anger management hard man issues, fake, wee dummy passes and you truly have  a comic skit.

I drank in his company once and he truly plays the poker face when he talks. You are never really sure if he is serious or taking the mickey.

You don't get to play the game that long without being great in the dressing room.

Fuck the SFA

Imagine the scenes on here if at 2-2 against St Mirren we took the ball to the corner 😂

We couldn't make another sub though at that point?

Wasn’t too keen on the corner flag stuff. There was still 4 minutes to play and Motherwell looked spent. It worked this time but it could have backfired if it was a goal kick and they got possession and then score.

I’m not sure what else we do there though mate

Yep, when we had the chance to go 15 points clear after the tarriers drew 3-3 with Kilmarnock. From then on we’ve had a lovely 8 years or so of absolute hell.
