Stairway 13 | Ibrox Disaster Documentary

I wasn't sure I wanted to watch this but I'm glad I did. Yes, it brought back many memories from my childhood, a day I will never forget but it made me proud to know we are all part of the Rangers family. A poignant way to bring in the New Year but an event that should never be forgotten.

A win tomorrow for the 66 would be so fitting of the occasion.

Yes, totally agree,  it would be nice, but whether we win lose or draw, we will still honour respect and be proud, yet humble for the memories of the ones we lost and those who suffered.

The club have just uploaded this documentary to YouTube.

I’m choked up watching that. I wasn’t born when this happened but from a young age I was told anout it and more so when I started going to Ibrox.

How any other human can mock this terrible tragedy is beyond words. The scum who do should me made to sit and watch this, but I suppose if somebody is shallow enough to make fun of something so poignant then this would probably not effect them at all.

That doctored image of the official image put out by the club is sickening. Someone should be on at that twat from the Louden about that. Its beyond distasteful.

He loves to spout utter nonsense and come across as the uber fan or at least above others when in reality he is an owner of a pub with a high opinion of himself who once again has tried to tie his pub in with RFC, hope the various ex players etc who he gets to do talks at the pub see this and bin him for this.

That's just not right, a personal message from the pub owner in tone with the occasion is fine. Not a plagiarism of what might be an official club logo, which is then blatantly used to advertise the owners business, and is more prominent than the personal message.

I'd be surprised if the club would be happy with that, especially if it was an official club logo.

The players reading the names of the 66 bought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. The lone piper playing in an empty stadium was eerie without fans but I feel our messages of remembrance were received by the spirits of the 66 and they know they haven't been forgotten.  A fitting tribute considering the Covid lock down restrictions.

I'm a hard hearted cunt most of the time but that was as emotional as can be.
