They were handed £20m on a plate. Only their own fault for not taking it. By far the biggest beneficiary of covid. No contest.

£20 million plus each season for 8/9 seasons unchallenged and they spectacularly mess it up and squander it in ways Sir David Murray could only dream of.

They should have been absolute light years ahead of us. That's gross mismanagement from them and I cannot be happier. They were happy to coast it unchallenged for years and their awful transfer policy has been papered over with their unchallenged procession to title after title. That has now been shown up for what it is and the house of cards is well and truly falling.

Popcorn at the ready for this afternoon!

The bank of Desmond mate. Even he must be having doubts now. Imagine he pulled the plug.  FFS!  🤣🤣

Imagine Mike Ashley was to buy them whenever Desmond does walk.

Does he hate us enough to spend money on them, or would he use them like he does every other company he gets into?

Honestly, I dont think we will be back to normal by the start of the season. It will be very limited numbers, if any supporters back in the stadium by then.

Can you imagine how low their season ticket renewal numbers will be if they lose their precious 10 in a row and they crawl along with Lennon till the end of the season?

Their fans will desert them in droves.

Even if they start to buy their season tickets when the fans are eventually allowed back in, their budget for the season will be utterly fucked.

The only way I can see them playing this is to struggle on with Lennon till the end of the season, then announce a decent manager for the start of next season to try and build some excitement. They will have to find someone Rogers like in profile that is willing to go to them though, because anything less than that is going to be met with utter disgust.

Ashley is incapable of spending money on anything that is no tot his benefit.

I hope it isn't Eddie Howe that goes. hes been linked in the past. I hope it isn't because I quite like him as a manager. Would recommend them a fella called Pedro, knows the scottish league well, out of work at the minute.

@The Dude any idea when its expected to be made public the results of their tests? cba sitting here aw day waiting for the good news haha. Sure i seen somewhere it was 12pm 2 days before their game but not sure if thats when the tests are done or results are released.

They need to be with the SPFL by midday two days before their next game. They don't need to make any test results public.

ah ok. shame. I am guessing the only way they'd get out to the public is if the squad had further positive results and therefore couldn't field a side for saturday?

I think Eddie Howe would be completely out his depth tbh mate, he’s only been successful at a tiny club in Bournemouth massive massive difference going to tarriers and the pressure that would bring.

fair shout tbf bud, Although if it weren't for him Bournemouth would still be nobodies. He did do a fantastic job but I don't think he would be the right fit for them just now. I'd just hate to see him go there as he's a likeable guy, can't say that about any of their other managers.

They can choose to release them (it's sort of become best practice to at least confirm any positives without naming the player) but as long as the SPFL/SFA JRG have the results, its good

Unless the positive tests are from players who played Hibs then I can see them being quiet on it. If a player who is already isolating tests positive it will be kept quiet. Got a funny feeling about Duffy and McGregor more than any of the others myself.

I ain’t sure of the ins and outs but would furloughing the youth team be a tactic to ensure they don’t have to resort to playing them in the event of more positive tests in the first team?

Thus a game getting postponed to benefit them knowing the SFA won’t make them forfeit 3 points

Hopefully they get the fenian dream team O Neill and Keane in 😂
