Lennon got the job because he was cheap and he was deemed to be good enough to maintain Rodgers’ momentum, at least in the short term, ie up to TIAR.

To replace him, they thought they didn’t need to pay for a Bentley, a Merc or even a BMW: such was their arrogance and small-mindedness, they thought a temperamental, high mileage old Fiesta was enough.

As ever in life, you get what you pay for. Lennon was cheap and available for good reason.

Poetically put.

Is this why they can't sack him.

Lennon was 19 when this happened. Could explain why he's as fucking bipolar as he is but not sure how it keeps him in a job?

Maybe a case of he knows where the bodies are buried? Metophorically.

I recently watched Simon Ferry being interviewed by another podcast called Under the Cosh.

He told some hilarious stories but you can tell why he had the career he did. Wasted potential imo.

Thought both of them were brilliant, but Part 1 was tremendous. Was in stitches listening to the Di Canio and Gravesen stuff.

I was shocked at his original reappointment given the way he left and what happened at Hibs.

Wait, they're asking for LAST season's money back? You know, that season they got the title handed to them and (somehow) are still on course for another treble?

Goes beyond entitled.

This was irks me of late. From Lawwell to Lennon to their fans.

We have clawed our way back and the entitlement they all share will be their downfall.

This eptimizes the point that’s been made numerous times...

They hate our club more than they love their own’

Potentially damage their club, especially at this horrendous time because basically they can’t face the fact of a strong Rangers team who are looking like credible contenders to retake the league flag. Priceless...

It's actually unreal how quickly they have chucked all the toys out the pram lol.  Watching them infighting and wanting to take money back is hilarious.

As you said mate they can't cope at the thought of us being back on top. It will be the greatest meltdown in history when we do 55.
