By the time they next play, they will be four matches behind us. The worst of the weather still to arrive and they have four extra games to catch up.

Why on earth was a jolly in Dubai sanctioned, especially in the middle of a global “do not travel” pandemic?

Im thinking this wee trip abroad where they are away from family and a decent rest at home, and are stuck with only each other's company, with little else to mull over and the wee bigot still hovering could actual be worse for morale.

Look at that photo of them "relaxing" by the pool, do they look like a bunch of happy folk ? No way. Wee Neil and Broonie on their own, whilst the rest laze around.

A few days in a foreign country during covid after a  record title breaking defeat. might not be the most  condusive to being  refreshed.

I think they'll come back totally pissed off, knowing the league is probably done, and Lennon's still there.

They booked it thinking they would beat us and go off and rejuvenate themselves for the rest of the season. When really its turned into an end of season piss up.

Sheer arrogance om their part and duplicity by the authorities.

Are there any other teams doing this do we know, especially EPL teams ? I know a lot of teams did this last year.

Frank Munro, forgot him, a mainstay in a cellic team that finished 5th in the league.

Ntcham.

O'Dea.

Bored with this now, as P and  Q are difficult so I'll skip to

Rogic

and end on a high (or low) with the  appropriately named one and only:

Raphael Scheidt

Well they have missed the hammering they’re taking in the papers  and by their mutant fans, so it was a cunning plan.

This part of the government statement though...(better not affect our team travelling for European games)

‘When approached for comment by BBC Scotland, Celtic defended their trip, insisting it had been approved by the Scottish government.

However, that is at odds with a government statement, who say elite sport athletes in Scotland are allowed to travel abroad to participate in a competition.

"We would expect the SFA to look into Celtic's trip further," it read.

"While there are travel exemptions in place for elite sports which are designed to facilitate international and European competition, if we feel they are being abused, we won't hesitate to remove this privilege."

Thats not going to happen, they would then have to stop the Scottish national side traveling for WC qualifiers. That will not go down well with their support.

And if the government or authorities wanted to turn on them for their latest statement its an open goal really.

Should be an interesting development given the Bolingoli issue earlier in the season.

Not holding my breath though...
