They have really been picking and choosing when games suit them. Example they could have played the sheep mid week of the league cup. They didn't as they wanted a clear run up to the hearts game. They gambled on improved form and likely bringing in new players in January. I now doubt many players outside of die hard taigs will go near them after the dubai holiday lol.
