The esteemed Secretary of the tim brighade who normally rants about us,referees and  the SFA has been missing in action.I'm sure  he would have been delighted  with Clancy's performance.

Mad Joe,the gift who keeps giving, has provided endless mirth and joy  to bears over the years  as the 'official representative' of the tim mentalists with his strident, semi colonic  laden tirades and obsession about all things Rangers.

This is just more pressure on the system to make sure no other non injured taig gets citied this season or in the near future

They have had their token ban and still milking it

The ban actually suits them. They wont miss anyway christie cos hes injured but it gives them the opportunity to bang on about being hard done by. The aim will be to make sure the compliance officer thinks twice about banning any celtic players in future and at the same time they'll be hoping that the compliance officer will be itching to even up the score by banning one of ours for very little. They cant lose. If im honest id rather he hadn't been banned.

celtic have drawn up a list of FOUR Rangers flashpoints after Ryan Christie was hit with a three-game ban from the SFA.
The celtic star was last week served a notice of complaint for an alleged ‘act of brutality’ against Light Blues striker Alfredo Morelos

Scotland international Christie will now be suspended for three matches after a two-game ban for the offence and another game for it being his second red of the campaign.

It’s believed that furious Parkhead chiefs are set to give the governing body both barrels following the outcome of the hearing and have drawn up a catalogue of similar incidents which underline what they believe to be glaring inconsistencies in the disciplinary procedure.

A list of incidents is said to include Ryan Kent knocking Scott Brown to the ground at celtic Park last season and three incidents from the December clash at Ibrox between the pair.

A source told the Daily Record: “It’s the inconsistency in the way the disciplinary procedure is handled which people find so difficult to understand.

The club has a long list of incidents from recent derby games which went unpunished.

“Scott Brown was booted in the groin and Anthony Ralston had stud marks on his leg after being stamped on.

“There was also an incident between Morelos and Christie which was remarkably similar to the one for which Ryan has now been banned. But nothing happened.

“The official line from the SFA is that the referee saw all of those incidents at the time while Kevin Clancy didn’t see what happened between Christie and Morelos which is why it has been dealt with retrospectively.

“But when supporters see these kind of inconsistencies it’s no wonder they struggle to understand what’s going on.”

Christie will now sit out celtic’s Scottish Cup clash with Partick Thistle and the Premiership matches with Kilmarnock and Ross County.

The Scottish champions last night hit out at the SFA and called for a ‘disciplinary process which is fair, consistent and fit for purpose’ in a blistering statement.

A club statement read: “celtic Football Club and Ryan Christie are extremely disappointed at the outcome of the hearing today.

“Given the recent treatment of celtic players and the lack of sanctions being imposed on those responsible, the fact that a sanction has been imposed on Ryan for the incident in question demonstrates a worrying lack of consistency in the Scottish FA fast track process.

“Naturally, we will be contacting the Scottish FA regarding our concerns. Scottish football deserves a disciplinary process which is fair, consistent and fit for purpose.”

Leicester are in for 30m for Edouardo?  My honest and somewhat unbiased opinion is that I don't think he is worth anywhere near that. There is no doubt he has talent but sometimes he comes across as lazy and uninterested to me. Morelos creates way more havoc.

My opinion I hope tae fuck its true get his head turned. With the price it's always been my opinion that both he and buff will go for roughly the same price. The lad is a player.
