Bristol loyal 6,248
They should be getting done for fielding an ineligible player seeing as he should have been isolating as per government and sfa rules. Instead they get games postponed (at benefit to them as they don’t have to play with a player out isolating) and yet still get to play their CL game. Anywhere else it would be unbelievable, in Scotland sadly I would expect nothing less.

Bill8972 479
It actually benefits them. They would be going into their qualifier fresh.
NeoGeo7 10,501
I await the decision to cancel the season and just use last years positions as the finishing positions for the 20/21 season
Ger_onimo 20,488
Are UEFA really going to accept that it’s unsafe for Scottish clubs to play football on the 17th but fine on the 18th?
kelvd1873 7,159
So.... if the government/spfl deem this serious enough to pause the league, what are the spfl going to do about celtic fielding an ineligible player that caused it? i asked earlier but why was bolignoli ineligible? does anyone know under what ruling? Ger_onimo 20,488
The game in Scotland really should be scrapped and started from scratch. One embarrassing disaster after another without pause, it’s pathetic and unfit for purpose
BlueKnight87 17,282
It should be simple. Postpone the games involving Aberdeen and scum fc. Hammer them for failing to control their players The rest of the league should not be getting punished.

Don’t know the rule as such but Aberdeen players who didn’t test positive still have to isolate as they broke the football bubble, so the taig is no different. And you can add to that he should have been in quarantine for 2 weeks after coming back from Spain as per government guidelines so he was actually ineligible in 2 ways! WCPRANGERS1 2,997
There's absolutely no way they'll just cancel tarrier matches, I mean if we win our two games while they don't play, having the points already on the board could be a psychological advantage even this early on and it simply won't be allowed to happen. Laudrup1984 25,100
Apart from the obvious (aiding them) why would the 17th be a logical date?

Ger_onimo 20,488
What’s the incentive for clubs to control their players here? Break the rules? No problem, we’ll just stop the whole league. Surely offending clubs forfeiting 2 weeks worth of games would be fair and go a long way to preventing further breaches.
sRcFoCt 7,662
I also thought that because of the amount of games delays couldn't happen

esquire8 42,465
So this player went to Spain, returned, had two days training, had a game, had another training day and yet the club only found out last night? In four days the player never said a word about his trip to anyone? This stinks of shit. Big time.
