To put it into even more horrendous context, without the sale of tierney, they were losing 430 grand a week last financial year, the tarriers running costs were losing them more in a week than some clubs spend to run their club for a year

That is an absolute shocker, and it will only get worse for them, if they struggled to sell anyone this window, january after a half season of cunts downing tools and no fans means clubs will be even less likely to buy their shite

That’s music to my ears 👍

Want another laugh

They spent 80.5mill running that club until june, their players, management and board took a pay deferral for 3 months up until june, and also the furlough scheme was used for their employees for the 80% of the wage

So in reality their expenses will likely be near 90mill 😂😂😂

We were told he was sold for £25m. Player sales were £24m and he wasn’t the only one sold. Another lie

Wasn't it £20m plus £5m in addons?

You would think they would've got £4m from the Sinclair sale and the next installment for Dembele.

It's a wage bill that was built with Champions League qualification in mind clearly

Having that size of a wage bill for Scottish Football is beyond stupid.

Love Peter's wee statement about balancing progress Vs long term sustainability.

Basically means they aren't gonna be spending money strengthening the team to win titles or getting further into Europe. Seems they will punt players in January. They are now thinking about survival...

It would be absolutely poetic after all the years of the taig financial expert's predicting our doom, having to watch their beloved club sell all their assets to stay afloat.

Things really are going pear shaped for them the now. Karma might finally be coming for them 😁

Lawman was on twitter saying their ST sales this year are down as well, going for the supposed 10iar and they drop ST sales 😂😂

Do the books tell the story of season tickets sold?

It was blatantly obvious they were struggling to shift them, for them to all of a sudden announce they were sold out just as we did.

Since then they have cried over and over about letting fans back in.....almost like they have lots of seats to sell.

Good 10 days or so this, would do again.

Their financials are pish, but I'm worried the last few pages are like what wee see, but in reverse, from the Kerrydale crackpots who all of a sudden have honorary doctorates in finance and accounting when it comes to us and our accounts.

They'll be fine. Just like we will be. No amount of wishful thinking and posting about it (on either side) will change that.

They have been getting state aid, dodgy loans, inflated player sales, free cracks at 20-25-million Champions League monies for so long now. They've all sorts of friends in high places, so can't get excited atm.

Did they get the Tierney money in the one go or they still owed money for him?

It appears to me that the French players have stopped playing since the Boli incident (he is Belgian - French speaking). Maybe there is more to the story than we know. In any case, Nitcham, Edouard and Julien appear to have given up.

Not for the first time has Lennon lost a dressing room. Like Brown, he only gained success in Rangers absence. He won't get another job easily. After today's financial report, I doubt they will fire him which is good. They can't afford to replace him.

The tide is finally turning.

Just like earlier on in the season where loads of people said we'd see where we were after we went to Easter Road and Fir Park, now it's their turn after having already dropped points at Pittodrie.

All well and good saying he's lost the dressing room and the tide has turned, and so far we do look like a different animal, but there's still a lot of football to be played between now and the business end of the season, Sunday is a massive game for us and a chance to go 9 clear with having played 2 more than them.

If they fuck up so be it, but we need to capitalise on it and just keep plodding away.

No chance sinclair was 4mill, not even close, if it was it would have been splashed all over the place, instead its "undisclosed" meaning buttons,

No one is saying they'll go bust, however they needed say even a 12mill overall transfer profit just to nearly break even, and this summer they have added to their wage bill, they haven't sold a bean and spent more money, and with matchday revenue down across the board, they could be anywhere over 20mill in the hole next summer

Ours will be bad too, probably show we need maybe 10mill again to see us to ST renewal time, but like last season our board will put into the accounts that they have guaranteed that money, whereas the tarriers have taken a 13mill overdraft with the co-op who still have securites over all their assets for an unpaid loan 😂😂

If it was true that our wage bill is half theirs, then our accounts wont look anywhere as bad as theirs, as their 80mill expenses is made up of a 60mill wage bill 😂

Their main issue is wages, they’ve added a lot to their squad this summer and realistically haven’t got rid of anyone on decent wages.

Players like Ajeti, Barkas, Duffy don’t come cheap, they’ll all be on £30-40k p/w at least due to their transfer fees/coming from the EPL. What is positive is despite all these additions, they aren’t stronger and haven’t increased the value of their squad.

If they don’t get EL/CL one season, they’d need to sell someone for big money. So would we might I add, but our wage bill is a fair bit lower. Their accounts are pretty decent if they can continue to sell someone for over £20million each summer, but they’ll be paralysed in the transfer market if they can’t....

Wouldn't pay deferrals still show in operating expenses?
