It's just another reason why international football (in a world of club football being such a big business/more important to folk) is fucking stupid and getting less and less relevant. I'd happily see Rangers stand toe-to-toe with the tarriers in giving us more rights in regards our players. Obviously scrapped would be better, but that will never happen let's be honest for hunners of reasons none more so than the players and our managers won't want it. But something's gotta give. Football is just about getting by as it is due to the fact our players are in our own designated bio-bubble (even when playing in the Europa league) and we will be used to each other, our protocalls and develop a little bit of herd immunity too. Take them out of that, train/mingle/mix/travel with players from other environments and bubbles and it's a recipe for utter disaster. Insanity. It's a full team meeting a full team in the champions league, instead of international football where the players are coming from various different teams.
