MacBoyd 2,225
I like him best on the right for the front 3. Playing utter shite now though, decent touches then woeful pass after it. BroonBear and graeme_4 like this
Popular Post Jimbeamjunior 16,260
He's good when he only needs to beat one man before getting into a good position, when he's one of the sitting midfield 3 he's very ineffective because of the brick wall that's infront of him all the time, Play him further forward or not at all imo berkshirebear, crazy bob swollenbaws, beararse and 2 others like this

Popular Post Moody Blue 4,745
Said in the match thread, Aribo is a pass the buck shitebag. Keep your eye on him and not follow the ball and his positioning, runs, etc. are garbage. Plays far too ‘safe’ for a third midfielder when you already have Kamara and Davis in the team. He’s lucky SG has no other options just now. Compare and contrast that with Arfield playing in that 3, the forward runs he makes, the goals he contributes. Arfield isn’t devoid of shite games either but he never hides, digs in when needed and gets you goals from midfield. Aribo is a hider. BigBearButt 1,198
The laddie is badly off form and through no fault of his own he is being selected to start. He needs to be benched. Im more concerned about the form and performances of Ryan Kent to be honest he has been a real let down for me this season and has 1 half decent performance in about 6. The lack of competition for his place makes it even worse. gmcf, Hadron Collider, BlueKnight87 and 1 other like this

Popular Post eskbankloyal 15,552
Needs to play further forward than where we deploy our midfield 3. No surprises our best chances & period of play came when he moved 10/15 yards up the park and played as more of a 10 Mr Soprano, JCDBigBear, BridgeIsBlue and 7 others like this

Parma99 71
Loads of technical ability, would be amazing in your 5s team, but nowhere near influential enough to be a regular starter. Arfield is a more complete and reliable player, and Gerrard knows it. BillStruthBear and Cedrick like this

left winger 5,217
He's off form. Just like a few other in the team. I think there's a relative lack of confidence in the team to take on players, create and take chances. Not just Aribo. I think it stems from Jack's absence (and to a lesser degree Arfield's) - with Jack there the other players know there's cover for them, so they can afford to take more risks. gmcf likes this
JM1872 1,725
Wasn’t great but think he rarely is when playing CM. Needs to be further up as others have said.
Popular Post bluenoz 16,242
I would switch Aribo & Hagi. I think Aribo is better suited more forward and Hagi sees the game better in a deeper role. Yes Aribo was poor today but he is a bit of a whipping boy on here. When he is on his game, he is unplayable at times. BigBearButt, GA1972, ayrshireranger and 3 others like this

BlueKnight87 9,929
He's off form and if Arfield or Jack was available he would be on the bench. From what I've seen he offers most pushing further up the pitch.
tm91 2,930
I'm sure he's incredible in five-a-sides and would be great at futsal. Frustrating as fuck watching him play for us though. All the ball control with no balance whatsoever, today he was moving like a pished dog on a wooden floor. He won the ball a few times and pressed fine but he was poor whenever he had to attack. Its more frustrating with him because there is a genuinely class player in there somewhere. He needs to be brave and start making an impact on games. Popular Post STEPPS BOY 39,853
Ovie Ejaria mark II Decent at Ibrox against the leagues dross but should be nowhere near team when playing tougher teams. As for playing him as part of front three - no pace, barely scores and is scared of folk coming through the back of him. I’d sell him if any decent offers in summer.
