Made it clear it was an extreme example to make the point. If through better recruitment they bring in a better level of player than what we have he has every chance to be successful even if he's a shit manager.

Struggling to see why some of you are looking at that as such an outlandish thing to say.

Hasn't managed in Europe, no clue of the market, no director of football, more than likely will be left with a minimal squad to work with once the clear out is over, they don't have the money required for the rebuild that they need, has no clue what Scottish football is like, already cracked under pressure.

In simple terms, they're fucked and he'll be gone by Halloween at the earliest.

You don’t deserve a single thing  Your focus has been on rangers UEFA license rather than your playing squad   Your demise has cost you a potential £30 million in champions league money

Sounds great, and if they really don't have the money for a rebuild you'll be right.

The points you make aren't in disagreement with what I'd posted though.

And in fairness you, probably as much as anyone on here, should have learnt to be cautious in making bold absolutist predictions.

They don't have the money, we'll be absolutely fine next season.

He probably seems like a hard nosed cunt, could probably deal with a wee bit of pressure but I’m struggling to remember a manager since Advocaat who had success here who wasn’t involved in the British game at least.

He’ll also have about 12 players to work with and will need 8 in at least. Not a chance they’ll all work as we’ve seen in the past. This is a 2-3 year building process for them and he’s never getting that time.

It would take a miracle to buy a whole team and for them to all click together even with a great manager.

I’d be honestly astounded if they managed to win the league next season after a full management change and squad rebuild

This. Its not easy building a team. Especially one that is all out attack AND successful over a season. It requires a lot of cash and the right players. They are rarely cheap. Disaster written all over it.

Probably cannot be 100% sure Flange will be a disaster but certainly hope he is.

When does he actually arrive and take charge and has UEFA decided on the situation with his coaching badges not correct for here?

Be another good laugh if uefa deny his involvement in Europe with him not actually having the required badges.

But but but... We have been tracking him for years but...

It would indeed.

That was some piece of shite about tracking him for years, they must think we are all like their own fans and surely they all cannot believe it either.

Yep it also takes time. It took us 5 windows to put together the sqaud that won 55.

Deluded taigs think they'll do this in 1 window. I doubt they'll have money to spend and even if they did, not a chance in hell every signing they make works out. Look at thier best window last summer 🤣🤣🤣

Amen. Our proper rebuild began with Gerrard. Even with a quality backroom staff it took us 3 years. He also learnt in his first year that pretty attacking football wasnt gonna work. He had to change and came up with the answer. Stavros, by all accounts, is stubborn and doesnt compromise as far as philosophy is concerned. This will be his downfall.

I agree it takes time to rebuild but not everybody on here was willing to give Gerrard the time it took to get 55. He received  a lot of flak especially after the Hearts game.

It will be no different across the city. A draw or two will have fans wanting his head. Gerrard was given 3 years because of his name and thank God he was. The Aussie will be given until Christmas.
