Popular Post scottyscott1963 9,411
Bring it on eddie. Paul Le Guen had just won 3 titles on the spin at Lyon and Scottish Football fucked his career. Chewed him up and spat him out. His first day in Scotland was to take in a Hearts and mutants match at Tynecastle and the filthy bastards actually spat on him. Big enough to take shite like that eddie? If you're not getting results within 2 minutes these mutant bastards will destroy you. ffs...tlb was one of them and had just won a couple of dodgy trebles and their club had just won 8 and awarded another to make it 8.75 titles and he got chased, along with the japanese ceo and the chief scout who squandered millions on dug shite, and the biggest hard shite you ever clapped eyes on captain jumped ship. Howe d'ya like it now eddie? WilliamMunny, TamCoopz, The Godfather and 2 others like this

Popular Post Colin Traive 11,406
Keep hearing about “due diligence” and both sides (Howe and the scum) doing their homework on the other. Now, five minutes of googling that club will tell you they ran an organised, industrial scale paedophile ring, covered it up for decades and still disrespect the surviving victims. Forget football. Just ask yourself “do I want to associate myself with a club with more convicted perverts than the rest of Scotland combined?” If he takes the job, he is doing so in one of two possible scenarios. First option is that he has seen the catalogue of atrocities committed and concealed yet is happily placing himself in the same gutter by overlooking it and, effectively endorsing their sick history. Or, alternately, he is unaware of their past, in which case, he is shite at due diligence, research or preparation. There is no good option. Not for the first time this season. Even if they get him keane has already said transfer kitty not big enough. I think it would be a Warburton type appointment - nice passing but not winning enough. Where did Keane say that mate?

DMax399 2,250
Eddie Howe could go either way if appointed. Will be a little surprised if the mhanks actually do get him, predominately because he is not an Irish RC; which largely seems to be their default position. Never mind the fact he will cost a few quid in wages.
GersInCanada 5,079
Howe is a better choice than Keane. He actually has recent management experience if only at a low level. If given time he could do a decent job for them. However time is something he will not get. First dropped points and the demands for his head will begin. Just hope he gets a cast iron contract at big wages so it will cost them a fortune to pay him off as that is how I see this episode ending. If, and I still think it's a big if, he actually signs for them. Don't much care either way. It's all about what we do. jintybear, SteveEarle and MonTheGers like this

This is just a ST selling stunt, Howie has to build them from the ground up with fuck all money... Thats mission impossible. Our team which is a level they won't get to took 3 years to assemble.. Popular Post Blueshoff 5,276
Sounds like the man for the job - And Howe failed to cure serious defensive problems which raised the red flag in 2018-19, when Bournemouth conceded 70 league goals in finishing 14th. That was the highest outside the relegated clubs and even Cardiff, who went down, conceded fewer. Dickie, BridgeIsBlue, Jamie0202 and 3 others like this

Siam69 17,302
Let's be honest, if Howe takes the job, it's a good signing for them. Plus, he has options, so would have to have been promised a fair wedge to build the team he wants. Every Manager's a gamble, and TBH Howe would be less of a gamble than Gerrard was. It'll also get the Declan's back on side and buy Season tickets and merch. No one will know how this is going to play out until the season starts, if he doesn't get them in the CL, he's off to a real bad start already. I'd have much rather it was Keane, but as long as we keep doing what we're doing, and qualifying for the CL is vital, we welcome the chase! Hes bang average and has zero experience being involved in an envirmoent where not winning every week is a disaster.
